A silencer does not generate heat and most certainly insufficient to damage blood on or within it to the extent it cannot be tested.
Not necessarily so. A silencer generates a huge amount of heat. It reduces sound by allowing the hot gasses to expand and cool in the silencer's expansion chamber and trapping them in between the baffles. See the following vid where the guy is testing a suppressor sleeve (silencer, moderator, suppressor are all inter-changeable words and mean the same thing). After 30 rounds the temp is recorded at 390F. Water boils at 212F. I don't think the silencer used at WHF would get to that sort of temperature ie 390F as the bullets are much lower in velocity but they would still generate significant heat to the extent the blood 'found' in the silencer could be destroyed in terms of its ability to yield blood results.
