I would nominate that post as the post of the day if we had one.   The biggest difference between the Maddie case and Ben's case is that in the former the parents were made official suspects with one of them refusing to answer some pretty straight forward questions.
yet the likes of brietta ferryman  davel to name a  few  adore the mccans and   many of us wonder why dont  we?

... and in your opinion that is enough justification to allow people to make sometimes quite unbalanced referrals to them on a daily basis? with Madeleine the sacrificial lamb on the alter of prejudice against her parents.

Give it a rest brietta.

This case is about Madeleine.

As to her parents, they let her down.

The Needhams were never made formal suspects in the disappearance of their own child if I recall correctly?

Seconded.

Succinctly summed up in an excellent post.

But ignoring the glaring differences!

Delete the first 5 words of the opening sentence and omit the rest of the post and you might be on to a winner (as might G-Unit).

But not otherwise ....

II find yours and others unquestioning belief in the mccanns RIDICULOUS.

My belief in the mccanns is not unquestioning...quite the opposite..I don't see any evidence to suspect them of not telling the truth and I see your viewpoint and those of others are based mainly on ignorance and an  inability to assess the evidence

no it doesn't....the present investigation by SY is designed to get justice for Maddie....why would people want that stopped

McCann Supporters not SY.

Let's face it, the McCanns have attempted to understate their own culpability from the beginning.  The hastily put together story about the child checking was just the beginning.  They knew from those first hours that they were going to be criticised and by their own parents.  The refusal to answer questions is a recurring theme with them, remember those interviews which Gerry walked out on?

Obviously you need brains to be a doctor even if common sense is somewhat lacking.
