This is nonsense.  Every time a "sceptic" makes an impassioned speech about how they would never leave their babies alone to go on the piss, or about how Kate and Gerry should be banged up, about poor Madeleine crying all night, about their disgust at Kate's f.....g tossers comment, about the jogging, about "if it was me I'd have knocked on every door in Portugal" about the martyr Brenda Leyland, about the McCanns ruining poor old Ammy's life etc etc etc ad infinitum these are all statement sthat show emotional involvement in the case.  Everyone who posts on this case on a regular basis is emotionally involved and it's ridiculous to pretend other wise.  You are the exception of course, you genuinely seem so completely cynical and "cool"  I would agree that you are probably one of a small minority who really doesn't give a shit about anything, and is just here for the laffs.

I see an excess of emotion in the above post. Some of the bold bits are your words being inserted to add emotional involvement to what were factual posts, some are things I've never seen posted by sceptics (banged up? poor old Ammy? crying all night?).

Can I have a cite for "ruling out" being a permanent state of affairs please.

As I have said there is no precise legal definition of having been ruled out
Therefore I am fully entitled to use this rather loose term ... gunit is wrong again in thinking it has some precise definition

Have you being paying attention ?

That's what this case has had for a long time.

and how many people read the threads on this case, who don't already know she is missing ?

By the way, as a supporter, have you searched for Madeleine yourself ?

I have seen lots that excludes the parents

Gerry was in the Tapas restaurant at the time of the Smith sighting and if, indeed, the Smiths saw Madeleine's abductor, that would definitively rule out the McCanns ....

i.e. you can't answer the questions.

So sceptics want to believe McCann supporters are basically a stupid lot with a closed mind who refuse to even consider that the McCanns may be involved
Nothing I or any other supporter posts will change this
Fortunately those that really matter...SY ...have said the McCanns are not suspects thereby ruling them out
Show me evidence that implicates the McCanns and I'm quite happy to reconsider

Do you really think that by typing abduction again and again and again, people will believe you ?

you've led a bit of a sheltered life then, as far as this case is concerned.  Is thismthe only forum you've ever belonged to or read rearding this case?  Never read:
The Mirror Forum
The Three Arguidos
Facebook Controversy page
The Complete Mystery of Madeleine McCann
Hideho's propangda videos and various blogs and fora
#McCann on twitter
Joana Morais
Blacksmith
etc
etc
etc
etc
etc
If not (and excuse me if I find it very hard to believe that you have not) then you probably won't know what I'm talking about.

Ah, memories, memories.
I believe everything. And l believe nothing.
I suspect everyone. And l suspect no one.
I gather the facts, examine the clues... and before   you know it, the case is solved!"

Or maybe not -

There is a question of belief.

And there is a question of knowledge.

Some people decline to believe knowledge.

Nothing to be done about that.

Who says he was there at 10pm?  What if Smithman had nothing to do with it? Back to the drawing board...........

the main reason why I find it difficult to believe the parents dunnit is the fact that Madeleine's body was not recovered in the aftermath of the disappearance.  Bearing i. mind that the McCanns had limited opportunities to transport and dispose of a body how do "sceptics" deal with this detail?
