It must be truly heart-warming for Ms. Hopkins children to learn that their own mother would give up on them in similar circumstances.
Heaven knows what stick they'll take in the playground (yet again).
The woman is a licensed child abuser.

Yep.  That's it, Kids.  If you ever get abducted don't be looking for any hoping or searching from me.  Poor children.  They will know from the word go that Mummy has moved on.

That is just stupid,   you said she wouldn't say what she wanted to say because she was being gagged,  well she did say what she wanted to say didn't she,  so she wasn't being gagged at all.

fgs ..........what part of...I have never been allowed to say this before...........don't you understand ....

I do it all of the time, Stephen.  I am not entirely sure that Madeleine isn't in France.

But If Katie Hopkins wants to give up on abducted children, including her own, then that's up to her.

She didn't say that, did she.

She employs childcare, unlike the mccanns.

Yep.  Dumps her children on Nannies 24/7 no doubt, because she is frequently away working.

She certainly has some controversial opinions.

- Do Christians here find it acceptable to call herself the "new Jesus"?

- Or to mock people with disabilities?

The outspoken columnist gave a speech at the Church and the Media conference in London where she told audience members that she is “leading the way” against the intolerance of the liberal left.

"I'm Jesus of the outspoken,” she said. “Jesus had his followers – I have 600,000 followers on Twitter. It’s about leading the way – I am the new Jesus."

She described herself as “brave” and told the audience that she is “pushing back the walls closing in on freedom of speech”.

The Evening Standard has picked up on Hopkins' Mail article.

Frenzy is the right word. It is like a Taz convention in here.

I don't think giving Lorraine Kelly helps much in this.

On a variety of levels

The backing she has received on the Daily Mail comments is undeniably significant.

Yes, it's entirely what Jesus would have done, to liken migrants to "cockroaches" ....

I disagree.
The people with "guts" are those who face terminal illness with dignity and forbearance, people who face living with appalling injuries, people who go into dangerous situations to help others have "guts"

She sits at a keyboard spewing out her intolerance, nastiness and bigoted views. The woman is seen as a loud-mouthed , shrill voiced, opinionated, intolerant woman by a great number of the British public.

She is certainly not my idea of a woman with "guts".

I was comparing her to other journalists, not to the people you mentioned. I have no interest in discussing 'degrees' of bravery. Expressing the same views as the rest of the journalistic pack is the easy option. She didn't take it, call that what you like. Even people who don't like her have agreed with what she has said about this case, whether you like it or not.
