Stomach churning stuff if I'm honest.  The McCann's are doing themselves no favours by their continuous attempts to attract public sympathy.  They thwarted the original police investigation in so many ways its criminal.   They have so many questions still to answer surrounding events which took place in Portugal in the aftermath to Maddie's disappearance.

This award is a shameful disgrace on those parents who have suffered the loss of a child through no fault of their own.

That cannot be said of the mccanns.

I don't think it's stomach churning at all.   Kate McCann has done a lot for Missing People,  obviously Missing People know they are innocent and had no part in the disappearance of Madeleine as SY and Portugal have stated.

People say she shouldn't be Ambassador for Missing People because they left the children alone,   but even if they left the door wide open with an arrow pointing at Madeleine in her bed,   NO ONE HAS THE RIGHT TO TAKE A CHILD !!   Kate McCann knows first hand what it is like to lose a child under these circumstances as does Coral Jones,  their children were taken by a predator.

Kate McCann is the right person to be Ambassador of Missing People,   she can empathise with other parents,  she knows what she is talking about.   

All the work Kate McCann and Coral Jones have put in for Missing People,   even though they are suffering the loss of their children is remarkable,  they both deserve the award.

I admire both women for the way that they have managed to deal with the utter tragedies that have happened to both of them. They are managing to use their dreadful experiences to try to help others who may also have to deal with tragedies.

The whys and wherefores and blame and guilt  of these sad events occupy your mind more than they do mine.
