I take your point, but surely you must appreciate that there are many other factors to consider, when determining the length of sentence.

You will find that altough there are sentencing guidelines that there are judges out there who do their own thing.  It isn't the first time that a judge has given a suspended sentence to someone for ths type of crime.

This is by far one of the more tame comments of this vile woman. I have to agree with those who have pointed out that this is really nothing to do with calling the girl a slag, but because she did a negative article on the McCanns..which is quite sad really.

I am kinda in agreement about the whole 'hes not a paedophile' thing too. Not sure what the 'official' explanation is but I wouldn't call someone who sleeps with a 15 year old a paedophile as a 15 year old is not really a child..I associate paedophiles with children children. Pre-pubescent is probably the best way to put it...kids that look like kids, not adults.

The guy definitely did wrong though, made even worse by the googling of 'age of consent' and stuff. He knew he was doing wrong and continued doing so. I do not think the girl is this innocent flower of a victim though and I am sure she will get a nice payday out of all of this.

Still, the guy was stupid, he deserves it.

Don't really understand why people get so wound up by Hopkins. She is a professional troll..and will continue to be so as it keeps the money rolling in. If people who dislike her and her 'views' (I say this as I dont believe she believes half the stuff she comes out with) just ignored her rather than foaming at the mouth about it everytime she says something ridiculous..she would disappear into the obscurity she belongs in. Unfortunately people cannot help talking about her so she is here to stay for a while yet...

I wouldn't judge individual human beings but viewed as a species we have reached plague proportions, endangering many other species of plant, animal, bird and insect. We are now endangering the planet itself. The eventual consequences could be self-destruction in my opinion.

Indeed. As a species, humans are the s..m of the earth. Destructive, polluting, overpopulating s..m.

I sincerely hope we get wiped out by our own doing. Religious war or poisoned by our own powerstations.
