Me too.  Great that they have met and are swopping info and thoughts.  I feel quite envious.
We have now discussed vast tracts of information and fresh insights have been developed.

Purely by chance, while we having a refreshment break from today's endeavours, Heri dropped something into the conversation which has altered my opinion of the case in a quite major way.

This fresh information happens to be supportive of the McCanns.  I had, in the past, worked out how the McCanns could have 'dunnit', though I rated that option as unlikely.

Heri's information has made it much less likely than I had thought.

A bit of a revelation moment, as Andy Redwood might say.

The mccanns done what exactly ?

Was Heri there in PDL at the time ?

The lack of consistency with  accounts of events.

As regards Heriberto, he has nailed his perch to abduction from the start.

So I would treat his approach with caution.

P.S. I have read several of his blogs on the case.

Really pleased to hear this.  But then I never thought you were anything but fair.

Heri knows a jolly sight more than you do.  He has come to his conclusions simply by research.

For various reasons, I do not support Heriberto's theorem.  We discussed differences of opinion in a very extended and very cordial manner.

And we also discussed some of the various stages his theory evolved through.  Whether you trust me or not, he did NOT start out with abduction in mind.

We discussed one of my options, which is at total variance with Heri's theory.  He was very enthusiastic about this, as he was unaware of the 'evidence' supporting this possibility.  In fact, he urged me to get in touch with OG about it, and has stated more than once he will check this out when he returns to Madrid.  He has perfected ways of digging up information that I have not, so this might provide further details.

He also said, on numerous occasions, that for him it is not about proving his theory is right.  It is about finding out what happened to Madeleine.

The piece of information was a throw-away comment in a conversation about something else entirely.  It was not some sort of directed comment.  In fact, when I realised its importance, I had to drag Heri back to the comment several times, to elicit the underlying information.

Exciting that Heri thinks the information you have should be shared with Operation Grange.  Apart from anything else it proves it is possible to find fresh information which may help to find out what happened to Madeleine.

Gaun yersel, Shining!!!
Translation ... Jolly good show.
"All I'm going to say is that we've conducted a very serious investigation and there's no indication that Madeleine McCann's parents are connected to her disappearance. On the other hand, we have a lot of evidence pointing out that Christian killed her," Wolter told the "Friday at 9"....

I need to replicate Heri's experiment.  If it works out as he said, I may well have another crack at OG.

Search for Maddie still no conclusions

English child disappeared nine years ago.

Correio da Manha

No conclusions. These are the words that define the investigation into what happened to Madeleine McCann, the British child who disappeared from the room where she slept nine years ago, in Praia da Luz in Lagos.

Maddie was three when she disappeared and if alive would be 13 years old on 12 May. Ongoing research constitute two processes: one in Portugal and one in England. In our country, the public prosecutor is to re-examine information collected in the past. In England, Scotland Yard follows the trail of a failed robbery at the apartment 5A, where the child was sleeping with two twin brothers.

According to the thesis of the British police, the robbers panicked and kidnapped the child. In the context of judicial cooperation between the two countries, the CM found, pending the submission of expert information requested by the British in the sixth rogatory letter sent to Portugal. The English did not ask for more support from the Portuguese authorities having admitted that the research may be on the verge of ending.

The CM understands that the two investigations did not reach any concrete conclusion. No answers, parents of Madeleine McCann assured this Tuesday, nine years after the disappearance, a statement on the website Find Madeleine, who still have "hope" of finding the child alive and "safe."

Kate and Gerry ensure that the investigation will continue until there are concrete answers.

I was on May 4, from 21:00 to 22:00, in Tapas Bar and block 5 zone. I took pictures from the same position at 21:15 and 21:50, to be analyzed in Madrid.

I am more convinced now that the abduction took place between 21:40 and 2200, with Russell inside 5D, Jane walking from Tapas Bar to 5D, and the other 7 adults at the table.

It was a great pleasure to have long conversations with ShiningInLuz. SIL is doing a great job on the case.
