Oh my days.  The McCanns have implied they are lying??!  No, what has happened is that you have scoured reams of statements, newspaper articles, books to find minor discrepancies (most of the more significant ones which have been subsequently corrected) which you have then used to imply the McCanns are liars.  They have not pointed the finger at themselves have they?  It is you, using the McCanns' own statements to imply that they are lying.

Disappointed yes, ashamed no - they were not responsible for letting the case go cold for years, for not following up leads, for deciding at the outset that the parents dunnint, for putting an arguido (subsequently convicted) officer in charge, for botching up the collection of forensic data, for not checking CCTV when it was available etc etc etc etc.

not sure how long you have followed the case but there is lots of evidnce for the PJ poor handling...failure to properly test the bed clothing for dna...and lots lots more. I don't like the court decision because I feel its a disgrace to allow amaral to defame the mccanns...as he has done and as the court has allowed him to do

we dont have the statements teh mccanns made we have the twice translated non verbatim reports they initially made...any attempt to compare the two for discrepancies is ridiculous

When I preface a post with the statement "I think" isn't it fairly obvious that what I am offering is my opinion?  If opinions are no longer allowed on this forum then please point me to the rule which outlaws it, alternatively if you don't like me expressing my opinion don't read it.

Thank you for admitting it's all just your opinion. It remains to be seen whether your opinions will be proved right or wrong at some point. My opinion is they won't.

For deciding at the outset that the parents dunnit?  That happens to be one of the myths on this forum that is contradicted by the evidence.  The PJ Files are replete with them following up other angles.  Murat was not made an arguido just as a diversion to lure the McCanns into a false sense of security.

I have demonstrated contradictions but given no opinion as to why. Maybe they just have bad memories. It is you who have decided my posts are 'implying' something. Your opinions of other's motives are constantly posted as fact, but they are just your opinions. If I contradicted myself it would be questioned, why should others be immune?

maybe they have been misquoted...maybe statements have been taken out of context because as intelligent people they will have very good memories
