It was reported that the Tapas 7 were to be interviewed by SY, no mention of the parents. conspicuous by absence then and thereafter. I will carry on googling though.

Those reports were almost 2 million pounds into the review.

Virtually the first thing that they would have done, before all that money was spent, was to interview the Mccanns.  They were the key witnesses ... and also had earlier been suspects.  They would have wanted to elimenate them from their enquiries

the scientific journals think it is

The evidence is poor only by 'scientific' standards. There's actually no need for 'scientific' tests because we all know the answer; it's 'common knowledge' what happens if you leap from a plane without a parachute.

The parachute example is being used by medics to suggest that when it's 'common knowledge' in the medical community that a treatment works, 'scientific' tests are also not always necessary.

The parachute example is being used as an argument against those who insistence on 'science-based' medicine. Whether people would be happy to submit to a treatment 'because lots of doctors know it works' is the question arising.

Well if you think medical people trying to use lack of control groups in parachute testing as an excuse for not testing drugs is somehow germane to the thread...

it is...it is related to the assessment of evidence but if you don't understand it don't worry

Thats true I suppose but also is the fact that they would have to get around to reading and analysing as much as possible ,translating professionally as well, maybe plenty of extraneous reading and tv interviews and documentaries before interviewing anyone at all. Just  my opinion.

just as it is is common knowledge that police would interview the last people to see a missing child...it really is that simple

Yes they could if they wanted to, but why would they before arming themselves with as much nf as is possible before doing so. I doubt the fact they were arguidos and were not cleared by anyone except the uk media  will not have escaped SYs notice somehow.

Under normal circumstances they would. Their first task would be to establish what may have happened. The remit suggests that first step may have been seen as completed. It is possible that they began with the assumption that the crime was abduction. So it really isn't that simple, I'm afraid.

Any professional would be interested in their own findings...SY would want to interview the mcCanns themselves..of that I am 100% sure

Aw, come on Gunit !

You dont really believe that SY would have failed to interview and question The Mccanns, do you?

You are stretching you credibility beyond reason there.  You are quite a clever guy, not a thicko like some on the forums.

Of course they would but no professional reinvents the wheel
The whole point of the last x pages is that there is no evidence (found yet) in the public domain that SY have interviewed the Mccanns...they may have had a couple courteous friendly chats, then again, in the absence of any evidence, no one can state any interviewing has taken place

its no ones concern if they did let alone davels

The whole argument stems from the question of whether the parents have been cleared/exonerated/declared innocent/call it what you like....some people insist this is a fact, it most certainly is not
