Not everyone closes their curtains merc, or stays indoors during 'intimate moments' lol. One thing's for sure you would know the helicopter was around, they make a tremendous racket. Our local one used to visit the farmland where we lived regularly due to naughty people from the estate across the field tending to take to the fields if the police wanted to speak to them. At night it had a great big searchlight shining downwards.

It's not always quiet in the country; the combine harvester used to work at night too, with lights all over it. Add in screaming wildlife, escaping horses and cows and bird scarers and you have an idea how peaceful the countryside can be. One night at 2am a young girl knocked us up in tears. She'd been camping with friends in the fields and they turned on her and threw her out, We ended up driving her home because she'd no way of getting there herself.
