Yes.

It's all in the files plus what OG has been up to since.

The second bar steward in Kelly's that night.  The one who has not been interviewed.  Care to have a guess at the name? Or would you prefer to waffle on?
How very rude.  I don't consider my posts to be as waffly as some I could mention, but I won't name names because I'd probably be told off for "name-calling".
So as you claim to know very definitely what OP Grange has uncovered and what they have not one can only conclude that you weren't being entirely honest with us when you claimed they'd been ignoring you, and that in fact they have taken you into their confidence and revealed to you everything that they know and don't know.   Wow!

Having followed Shining's blog for some time, having read what she has to say for herself on the forum and having pored over the photographs she has taken at the request of members ... I knew exactly where she was coming from as far as the 'ghoul tours' are concerned.

I disagreed with the focus on the McCanns and friends quite simply because they have been investigated exhaustively and there is nothing more to be gleaned from further intrusion in that direction.

The big stumbling block to Amaral's persecution of them is the nigh impossibility of their capability as strangers to Luz of performing the acts that Amaral has attributed to them.
The tours are designed to illustrate that fact and are not so much designed to implicate the McCanns as to exonerate them using a feet on the ground approach.

Somewhere along the line the wires have got twisted.

People who were children themselves when Madeleine was taken have moved on from the historical event and if familiar with Madeleine's case at all it is through the prism of other forums and bloggers who have a less than friendly approach to the McCanns and their search for Madeleine than this forum or SHINING IN LUZ.

Unfortunately, Shining has fallen into that camp.  The victim perhaps, of journalists unfamiliar with a rational approach but all too familiar with the irrational one typified by the nature of comments (when such are allowed) which follow on from every word printed about the McCanns.

You have omitted one distinct possibility Brietta.

Many people do not believe there was an abduction.

I am with Misty on this one, Shining.

Almost certainly someone in Luz knows what happened to Madeleine and it is evident that person is not going to impart that information voluntarily.

Not necessarily Brie. There is at least one scenario which involves no other person.

I can understand where Shining is coming from and I see no harm in it.  Genuine valid questions are being asked which the MSM prefer to sweep under the carpet these days in favour of chequebook journalism and shoddy cheap skate articles. When one compares the version of the story published in Portugal to that published by MSM in London, the difference is remarkable.

Sorry this is late:

I cannot remember if Heri and I discussed whether he got anything beyond the standard automated response.

I got that on every one of the 8 or 10 times I sent info to OG, but nothing more than the standard auto-response.

If you think the issue of whether or not Heri got more is significant, perhaps you would be good enough to check the details with Heri before claiming it as evidence about me.  Heri is an affable chap and easily contacted.

I believe Sadie has said she got some form of personal interview.  I don't know whether she walked into the police station in Belgravia, making personal contact, and to be honest I don't care.  It does not affect my evaluation of Sadie's theory.  Does it affect yours?
I cannot answer for Heri but I know what happened to him re responses from SY.

..............

Yes after my experiences with a rude Portuguese lady at the Mccann site.  She refused my information which SY were later interested in .. and have, I believe acted upon.  She later came on here and revealed herself as an enemy of the Mccanns, but left this forum after I challenged her.  Her name has been deleted from the members list

After these experiences, I have come to the conclusion that the Mccann  team, (which was made up of 100 volunteers) was deliberately infiltrated by some who were against the Mccanns.
The prestigeous organisation, which backs the elite man who I believe masterminded the abduction, is mighty and has 'moles' everywhere ...

The info I found was researched on the spot in Portugal via an 11 day special visit, including driving up to Porto following links I found.  It was completely different to anything anyone else had noticed and had a good many confirming pointers.
Following the distress of having my info refused,(without knowing what it was about), by this Portuguese woman, I made up my mind to always personally take it to SY.  So I travelled several times to Belgravia and handed it over personally.

As I said before, to begin with, I just handed it to a DC but for the last two visits was elevated to a Detective Sargeant.

BTW, SIL, no lay person can evaluate my full theory, because apart from the local Police and SY, no-body knows much of it.  Apart for a few snippets, it is between them and me.

The initial PJ investigation definitely didn't conduct an exhaustive investigation of the McCanns and their friends. If such an investigation has taken place since then we have not been told about it.

???  Are you claiming that the PJ failed to thoroughly investigate 2 of their 3 arguidos in this case?  That's a bit of a damning indictment of the Portuguese police!

The Portuguese Police cannot be blamed.

Have you forgotten they attempted to thoroughly investigate all the arguidos but were thwarted at every turn. The English police either refused or delayed in providing McCann related documents and records requested by the PJ in Portugal. Statements like the Gaspars were withheld as far back as even Amaral's involvement. The tapas group and others refused to cooperate with the PJ in the planned reconstruction.  Have I missed anything?

The files clearly show the difference. As to why, that's another matter.

Would you care to elaborate on that giving, as appropriate, cites of such acts that Sr Amaral actually did attribute to the so called "T9"  rather than acts which may have been offered up by him as possibilities to investigate?. Also your reasoning for saying why these unspecified acts were in your opinion impossible, might be interesting.
In the interests of furthering the debate of course.

You see where I come from police should not be allowed to come up with pathetic excuses like "the suspects wouldn't help us investigate their alleged criminal activities so we couldn't do our jobs properly".  You also seem to be suggesting that the McCanns and their friends were being protected by the UK police in some sort of cover up.  Hmm....

Not at all ... those of us familiar with the opinions of 'those people' will recognise them immediately when I mention the less than friendly fora, bloggers and adverse comments sent to newspapers.

Shining's 'crime' was to be mistaken for one.

"All I'm going to say is that we've conducted a very serious investigation and there's no indication that Madeleine McCann's parents are connected to her disappearance. On the other hand, we have a lot of evidence pointing out that Christian killed her," Wolter told the "Friday at 9"....

A mistake that I was somewhat close to making, although I never actually saw them as Ghoul Tours.  I simply didn't understand the purpose as related to my own desire for an academic conversation en face, as it were.
