I would like to see the 'anniversary' dedicated to Finding Madeliene

This would be by having posters of the young maddie, next to a poster with an age progression picture, next to another double poster with 'Smithman' and offier of 2 million pounds for evidence based information leading to the arrest and conviction of perpertrator/s. I say evidence based to stop the idiots claiming she is in Sibera as a  lap dancer and/or claiming all sorts of nonsence. wasting peoples time.

8@??)(  I would like that too

But the meanies of Praia de Luz would just destroy the posters ... and spend the next 10 years grumbling about them and The Mccanns

Please note that I do not think that the majority of residents are meanies ... but a substantial vocal minority are.

You wouldn't have to pay homage to the family,  just don't read about them in the newspaper or on line.

Are you seriousy telling me to stop reading news blogs and discussing issues on forums?  McCanns would love that.  reading about them and not falling over myself to 'love' them is what I would term as paying homage. Wires crossed eh...

Madeleine is the McCann's daughter of course there should be a service of some kind for them to mark the 10 anniversary.

If there wasn't there would be the nasty outpouring from people saying they didn't care.

I consider your response above just another naked attempt at goading.  You read "anger" into my posts where none exists and because it suits you to think of me frothing with impotent rage at your rapier sharp insight and wit.  Dream on.   @)(++(*

Excellent but yet again you have made a claim that you have failed to back up and responded abruptly when called on it. Perhaps you would look less foolish if you simply did not make these unprovable claims in the first place?

What claim have I failed to back up?  That there are supporters who would be prepared to help the McCanns in times of financial crisis, including "wealthy backers"?  well what do you want, names and addresses?  Jeezus!  (Laughing btw, not remotely ANGRY!!!!!) @)(++(*

Oh that and much worse.  Effigy burning of a fat, sweaty ex-cop in a once yearly ceremony is a highlight.

He was burnt in Effigy, a little town near Oswaldtwistle which is named after Lee Harvey or Oswald Mosley I am not sure which.

What a facetious comment Gunit.

I suggest a lovely gift of benefit to all ... an attempt to bridge any previous perceived hurts ... but you think fit to throw sarky brickbats at it.

Couldn't you have come up with anything kinder?

You really do hate the entire Mccann Family, don't you ?

I'm afraid I couldn't work out why the residents of Luz would be pleased if people in the UK donated lavender plants to them. We know they don't particularly care to be reminded of the events of 2007 so a permanent reminder is unlikely to be popular imo. A 'lovely gift' in your eyes may be a step too far for others.

I don't hate anyone, Sadie, but I've been less than impressed by the inability of some individuals to acknowledge that other opinions and feelings are as valid as theirs.

You claimed you knew wealthy backers who would help bail the McCanns out of the unholy mess they have made for themselves. Time to put up Alfie.

The topic is ... Suggestions to mark the 10th anniversary of Madeleiene's disappearance.
"All I'm going to say is that we've conducted a very serious investigation and there's no indication that Madeleine McCann's parents are connected to her disappearance. On the other hand, we have a lot of evidence pointing out that Christian killed her," Wolter told the "Friday at 9"....
