Begging SIL's pardon it was on another thread, not this one.  Dunno where the magic bullet went though...

So are you telling me that if when reviewing all the information or if when re-interviewing witnesses, or if someone "cracked" and divulged some incriminating information about the parents, that the Met would not investigate these leads any further as the parents are "off limits"?  Do you actually believe this?

Quote from Shining in Luz:

Yes.

There is no reason to believe that with the parents off limits they are permitted to be investigated.  They are off limits, as per the remit.

It was Dr Ehrlich's "magic bullet" used as a cure for syphilis.

no one has mentioned a magic bullet apart from you. We are talking about a small piece of information that points to the mccanns ...do you imagine SY would ignore it.....dont duck the question and dont twisty turn
The magic bullet was, of course, mentioned before I got anywhere near to it.

It was postulated as something that would completely blow this case apart.

I denigrated this magic bullet hypothesis some, what, 60 posts ago?

Please keep up chaps.  It is as interesting as trying to outrun a caracol.

Hmmm, what did Gonçalo say about caracoles and Primeiro de Maio?
What's up, old man?

The festival seemed to bypass the attention of OC holidaymakers & presumably snail ice-cream was not the flavour of the day at the beach cafes.

"Fresh new evidence stuns Maddie police" - a headline pulled by the mirror a couple of months ago. Maybe there is a golden bullet after all.

After 10 years there is going to be no magic bullet evidence.

According to the remit, OG is to not consider evidence which is of a lesser level than magic bullet standard.

Question: you've already admitted you believe the Met would ignore any such evidence should it come to light haven't you?  I posted to proof yesterday.

I have indeed posted on this before, as have you.

Without a magic bullet revelation, what will OG do with info pointing the finger at anyone?

File it in the 'do not action' pile.

That is according to the remit.

I don't accept that the British Government or Operation Grange are protecting anyone, so I would file your post under "conspiracy theories" aka the bin.

I can think of only two reasons why the word abduction appeared in the remit.

1. That is what Operation Grange was set up to investigate.
2. That is what Operation Grange wanted people to believe it was investigating.

Posters are reminded to debate the issues and refrain from making unhelpful comments towards other members.  TY

The only person talking of a magic bullet is you
I would expect Grange to look at any evidence that arises

Redwood has already said Maddie may not have left the apartment alive which proves that abduction is not all that is being investigated and proves you wrong
