GRIM DISCOVERY Remains of ‘America’s Maddie McCann’ Isabel Celis found five years after she disappeared from her bedroom.

Isabel Celis was last seen being put into bed in Tuscon, Arizona, at 11pm in April 2012.

THE remains of a six-year-old girl who vanished from her bedroom five years ago in chilling echoes of Madeleine McCann’s disappearance have been discovered.

Isabel Celis was last seen being put into bed in Tuscon, Arizona, at 11pm in April 2012.

When her dad went to check on her in the morning, he discovered she had vanished.

The mysterious case sent shockwaves around the world and bore a haunting resemblance to the disappearance of Maddie McCann.

Despite making headlines around the world, police made no real progress on the case for five years.

But last night they revealed that human remains in a remote area that matched Isabelle’s DNA.

Her family had maintained she was last seen after being put to bed on a Friday night – and called the police the next morning when she wasn’t in her bedroom.

Chief Chris Magnus confirmed last night police had found human remains which were matched to Isabel via DNA analysis.

He would not say how police were led to the spot a month ago, except to say it was not "happenstance".

No arrests have been made and the police refused to say if there were any suspects.

When Isabel first vanished there were theories surrounding a suspicious entry point in the family home.

The mysterious case of Isabel's disappearance bore a haunting resemblance to the disappearance of Maddie McCann.

This was suggested to be her bedroom window, which may have been forced open.

Neighbours were also said to have heard male voices and the barking of a dog at about 6.30am the morning she was reported missing.

Her family released a statement which said: "We want to thank the community for the support they have continued to show for Isa over the years and for refusing to give up hope.

"Now is our time to mourn. We ask for privacy during this time so that we can do that."

A malicious prosecution for a crime which never existed. An exposé of egregious malfeasance by public officials.
Indeed, the truth never changes with the passage of time.

Police search the Celis residence with two FBI dogs- a cadaver dog and a search and rescue dog.  They do not release details or specifically confirm any findings, but claim that they “may have found evidence that [requires] a follow-up.”

Police have not said what that is,  but sources close to the family not willing to be identified have confirmed to www.blinkoncrime.com that the specially trained cadaver dog  alerted to the detection of cadaverine.

The home is now being treated as a crime scene.

The prime suspect is obvious.

Tucson News Now has obtained surveillance footage showing what was happening around the home on the night she disappeared.

In the nearly 10 hours of footage, we never see any sign of Isabel. Even though it's from a distance, we never see anybody outside her bedroom window either.

From the very beginning Sergio Celis, the missing girl’s father, suspected the business across the street just might have surveillance.

“He came in asked about it,” Solis said, just days after his daughter went missing.

“So I did burn this copy – it was originally for him,” Solis said. “But we kept it and never released it to anybody until now.”

As soon as he left, authorities came to the business with some very pointed questions about Sergio.

"They were watching him, that's for sure because they knew exactly (where he was) and they wanted to know what I told him - and I told him nothing,”
Solis said.

Around 5:00 AM:  Sergio wakes up on the couch, during which, he claims to have not heard “anything weird,” and moves to sleep in the master bedroom with Becky.

Around 6:30 AM:  A neighbor, Alicia Stardevant, is awoken by “dogs barking.”  She later describes the commotion to media outlets as her dogs and the Celis family dogs “going nuts.”

The following floor plan was created by Ellie Tza, a Reality Chatter forum user, for reference in the “Isabel Celis Documents” thread.

Around 7:00 AM:  Isabel’s mother, Becky, leaves for her shift as a nurse at Tucson Medical Center.  (However, some sources report her leaving as early as 6:30 AM.)

Later, when asked by a 911 operator, Becky asserts that she “didn’t hear anything at all” and does not mention the dogs barking in subsequent interviews.

8:00 AM:  Isabel’s father, Sergio, goes to wake Isabel up and discovers that she is missing.

8:14 AM:  Sergio calls 911 and reports Isabel missing.

In the call, Sergio immediately mentions that he “[believes Isabel] was abducted” to which the operator replies “Why do you think she was abducted?” Sergio then replies, “I have no idea.”  Though this initial exchange seems suspect, Sergio does explain that they’ve searched “everywhere in the house” and have already found the window screen “laying in the backyard.”

However, his calm and collected demeanor on this 911 call, during which he even “(chuckles)” about telling Becky “to get her butt home,” proves to be inexcusable to many critics afterwards.

8:45 AM:  Surveillance footage captures Isabel’s family “looking around her house” and her mother’s SUV racing home.  Becky is described as “visibly upset and crying intermittently” in police reports.

Once police arrive, the authorities conduct a door-to-door search in the immediate neighborhood.  Police also search “adjacent neighborhoods and a nearby landfill.”

Sergio Celis moves out of the family residence.

According to reports, “child welfare authorities stepped in.. and [they all] reached an agreement that Sergio Celis wouldn’t have contact with his 10- and 14-year-old sons.”

However, CPS and authorities never publicly confirm or clarify the nature of this strange situation.  Becky publicly insists:

“My husband’s a great father.  He’s a great husband, a great father to the boys and to Isabel.  At the end of the day when Isabel comes home, everybody’s questions will be answered.”

The prime suspect is the person who left the area after the disappearance, not the father.

I disagree so wait and see Misty - if a cadaver dog alerted in their home then of course the family are prime suspects. Their 3 dogs barking at 6:28am but parents heard nothing. Window screen busted, nobody seen outside window on surveillance footage. Possible sexual abuse in this case.

BRAD DENNIS, K9 HANDLER, DIRECTOR OF SEARCH OPERATIONS, KLAASKIDS FOUNDATION: They brought in -- my understanding is they brought in two different types. They brought in a scent discriminating trailing dog to see if they could pick up direction of travel, maybe leading the way from the window, but it appears that they also brought in a cadaver dog into the house. Obviously one of those dogs gave a trained indication inside the house.

I agree with Misty that it is not cut and dried who the suspect is, as you seem to think Pathfinder.

If you listen to what the police chief says at the press conference it seems the immediate family, in particular both her parents would appear to be in the clear.

"our department has been in contact with her parents, yes"

"I think that they are probably the best ones to share their reaction.  I wouldn't be comfortable characterising that on their behalf ~ I am sure that they are very emotional but they should really be the ones to respond to that."
"All I'm going to say is that we've conducted a very serious investigation and there's no indication that Madeleine McCann's parents are connected to her disappearance. On the other hand, we have a lot of evidence pointing out that Christian killed her," Wolter told the "Friday at 9"....

I suppose they do that to justify reporting the story, which isn't UK news. Why they think the two are similar I don't know, unless it's the window reference.

Well there's also the fact that they were both girls, under the age of 7, who disappeared from their bedrooms while asleep and have been missing for years, and in both cases the parents have come under suspicion.  Apart from that, no similarities at all!

Including the rumour mill going into overdrive regarding Isabel Celis's parents.
