Well plenty there to gladden the heart of your average doubter, shame they all missed it cos they think Brunt is shitter than shit and didn't watch it.  @)(++(*

For me the best bit was when thr PT AG said he came to realise that there was absolutely no evidence at all that the McCanns were involved.  He didn't say "not enough" or "a lack of evidence" but NO evidence.  Quite right too.

Well that's another wasted hour watching Brunty regurgitate the facts in the Madeleine McCann case.  I don't think he even mentioned the name Amaral once either.
A malicious prosecution for a crime which never existed. An exposé of egregious malfeasance by public officials.
Indeed, the truth never changes with the passage of time.

The words used by the former AG were "no evidence at all". There was no admission that the parents weren't involved.  And Brunty's claim that the parents were cleared by the original investigation was poo poo'd by the Supreme Court which stated that the parents had not been proved innocent.

No he didn't. Just shows how worthless his ( amaral's) opinions are.

He did indeed.

Ummm...what to say......much glossing-over & very led by the views of Colin Sutton. For those of us who are a little more informed it was indeed rather a nonentity.
Next?

Don't make me sit through the whole thing again to transcribe his words verbatim!  He clearly said (unless I'm suffering auditory hallucinations) that it dawned on him that there was no evidence at all against the parents.   If there's no evidence AT ALL against them then they deserve to be considered cleared in exactly the same way that Murat is considered cleared, and the rest of the ex arguidos.  To make an exception in the case of the McCanns is manifestly unfair.  They are either ALL cleared on none of them is cleared.

Yes, it was rather the Colin Sutton show wasn't it? I suppose he had to earn his fee some how.

I recorded it so I was able to watch it again.  Former Attorney General Fernando Jose Pinto Monteiro never said "against the parents".  He stated, "...it took me a long time to close the case until finally I convinced myself that there was no evidence at all."

One could infer that he meant no evidence at all of an abduction.

Just posted a transcript of an interview with Pedro do Carma on the Latest News Not Search Related thread.

Parents are not suspects. Period.

OK, if he didn't say that (and I will bow to your greater recollection) then by virtue of the fact that he stated there was NO EVIDENCE AT ALL, that would necessarily include "against the parents" as well would it not?

Thank you misty, unfortunately he didn't clarify as to suspects in what?

Since the investigation is focused on the disappearance of Madeleine, I would conclude that the parents weren't suspected of being involved in it. However, he may have spoken with forked tongue.

Colin Sutton did voice his scepticism about the ruling out of Tannerman, though, which was interesting. "Almost certainly" -  but not 100%.

It is interesting that the woke and wandered theory has come to the fore after being denied for many years.  I also note that former DCI Colin Sutton is of the opinion that someone knows what happened to Madeleine and now ten years on should be encouraged to come forward. That certainly isn't being pursued by Operation Grange as their priority is a collar at any price in order to justify the £11 million spent for far.
