I guess that could be applied to the dogs as well. There may have been traces of cadaver, but it wasn't found.

posters are not correct to post that teh alleged abductor left no forensic trace....they should claim no forensic trace was found....there are lots and lots of other examples so i will just highlight them as they arise

What was it Mark Rowley said about how Madeleine left the apartment?

As it happens I often post about a "theoretical abductor" simply to pre-empt the whingeing retorts of "what abductor?" It is a pain though.  Anyone interest enough in this case to click on this forum will know that Madeleine's disappearance in an unsolved mystery and won't stupid enough to think that references to an abductor means an abductor has been established as fact.

Much of the British media use the term Madeleine's abductor constantly even though there has never been any proof provided that she was indeed abducted. Maybe it sells newspaper better than the alternatives?

A malicious prosecution for a crime which never existed. An exposé of egregious malfeasance by public officials.
Indeed, the truth never changes with the passage of time.

I think what's happened is that it's quite clear now that in the opinion of those investigating the disappearance believe Maddie was abducted and other ex detectives have also come out in support of abduction .
Some posters dislike this and have become extremely pedantic
Why is it that we have discussed this case for years and the term abductor has always been acceptable
Suddenly it's not
Bizarre

Could posters stop saying the McCanns have not been interviewed by Grange as it is more likely that they have

Could posters also stop claiming the dogs alerted to what they were trained to alert to as that has not been established

The McCanns were not interviewed Under Caution.  We simply don't know if they were interviewed.  So no more saying that they weren't.

As soon as evidence thereof is posted, I will accept it.

Given it is May 2017 and no one has posted evidence thereof, guess what, it is alleged interview, or IYO.

In my opinion I think to be on the safe side every single post should begin with "in my opinion".

They have presented nothing to indicate that an abductor is anything other than their opinion.
