So getting back on topic.....supporters must use the word alleged abductor.....but other posters are free to post whatever they like without sanction

I do not believe that would be equitable or in the spirit of things.  All members are surely bound by the same restrictions ... if there is no evidence, it is opinion.
"All I'm going to say is that we've conducted a very serious investigation and there's no indication that Madeleine McCann's parents are connected to her disappearance. On the other hand, we have a lot of evidence pointing out that Christian killed her," Wolter told the "Friday at 9"....

yet we have seen a mod here post a whole range of claims and accusations and failed to provide cites to support any of it

It is evidence that would be allowed in court for the jury to decide...your claim is your opinion and plainly wrong

Witness evidence is only of value when both independent and corroborated.

It is evidence none the less of something.

Possibly evidence of some dodgy goings on.

it is evidence that would be allowed in court...that is fact...not opinion

Any lawyer would be laughed out of court. Please Mrs Suspect, can you explain in your own words how you found the crime scene?

Jane Tanner walked past that window at 9.15 and saw nothing untoward. Her partner Matt went into the apartment at 9.30 and saw nothing unusual either, no billowing drapes, no open window or raised shutter.

absolute and complete rubbish....once again posting opinion as fact
it would be up to the jury to make that decision

Suspects are questioned in court all the time...once again it is the jury that make the decision as to whether they are truthful...their statement is evidence.... im stating facts...you are stating opinion

the question is are the statements evidence....the answer is yes
so is ther evidence of an abduction....yes

I assume you are referring to Kate's statement.  Her statement constitutes case evidence but not evidence of an abduction.  For that it has to be INDEPENDENT and CORROBORATED.

No, what you are doing is grasping at straws in order to make a case for an abduction.  I have pointed out that there is NO forensic evidence to support your claim.  I have also pointed out that cooperation with the Portuguese police was strained to say the least and not at all what one would expect in a genuine abduction case.

I'm still waiting on your evidence for abduction btw!

her statement is evidence that the window was opened by a third party...which would be an abductor...evidence but not proof
that seems exactly the  line SY have taken

No its not.  Her statement is merely a claimed observation. Worthless on its own really.

I suggest you stop bending the facts, I know exactly what has been established in this case.
