There is no where written that the case was shelved because then McCanns had no case to answer. It was shelved due to LACK of evidence  not that there was NONE  just a lack of...
In your opinion what does that tell you?

How else would you interpret the reference to the McCanns (sic) non-involvement in any penally relevant activity?

It is certain Imo that SY interviewed the McCann as witnesses and came to the conclusion combined with everything else that they were not suspects

Are you certain of your opinion or certain it happened.

Does not answer my question.
Do you believe that during this long investigation that any indication of the Mccann's involvement in Madeleine's disappearance would just be brushed aside/ignored/by a professional police force?

If it suited their purpose, yes I do.
That is not to say that it happened in this case.

I see someone has claimed , in their opinion, that SY interviewed the McCann's.

Let's have a cite for that.

For it is plain to see that SY relied on the shelving report, as did the Supreme Court.

As to the claim that the Mccann's have nothing to answer for.

That is also a matter of opinion.

After all, how did this case start ? %£&)**# %£&)**# %£&)**#

In your opinion what does that tell you?

In my Opinion? It tells me a lot of things, begining with no one entered/left that apartment via a window to steal a child. And also evidence could have been removed or tampered with. The truth always leaves clues, unless the truth is well hidden.

Maybe we should be asked to justify our opinions.

I know in the past this has happened because of racism and other issues.
Is there a reason why they would do so in this case?
Why would it suit their purpose in this case?

Quite right and as it is merely an opinion, need not be taken too seriously- IMO

Here's a solution.

Everyone change their signature line to

"The views expressed in my post are my opinion only and may not necessarily constitute 100% verifiable fact"

Would that do?

I do.  This forum is second to none for information on the McCann case IMO.
