If tiny spot DRH/49 was from Nevill, very odd that it was in a position where you would least expect it to be if he was rushing to get downstairs? Disorientated maybe?
I don’t find it odd that a blood stain was there.
June and Nevill’s bedroom was directly opposite Sheila’s and a huge struggle obviously took place on the landing — Jeremy and Nevill would have been moving violently all over that area,
They haven’t established whose blood it was, but it may have been Jeremy’s...he did have scratches on his hand which he later claimed he’d got from the tractor.
Although I don’t think his glove fell off upstairs — it fell off downstairs in the kitchen. He said so to Julie, when he was making out the hitman who he tried to set up told him HIS glove fell off.
As for Crispy possibly transporting the blood, going by my dogs (Labradors) they tend to sniff everything. I’m sure all breeds are the same. So I’d imagine Crispy may well have sniffed June’s face and tried to rouse her, but I can’t see him burying his nose in the carpet. And as Caroline rightly pointed out, had he trod in blood there’s have been bloody paw prints.
I don’t see much relevance in this, as the bedrooms were directly opposite each other and blood spatters in a violent struggle.
