Well it's the first time I've seen Clarence compared to Michaelangelo, but if you say so!

Does that imply you have seen him compared with a dog!?
Sniping apart, I believe Clarence earned his corn.

Some people are just far too important. you know how it is.
All the celebs have a spokes person, its  almost like having a butler or such. I don't know about anxiously awaiting news bit, I guess they are  just glad they don't have to use fund money for the 'search'. they can't search them selves, could they or are  they are too busy?.

Why is Mitchell even involved at all?  Can the McCanns not speak for themselves any more?

I find it rather ironic that they can still pay for a spokesperson but not for someone to package up the awareness raising goods they have been selling these past years.

Certainly more than an envelope stuffer.

But how much?  Do you have a cite?

Of course it should be nothing as we were told Gerry sacked Mitchell but up he still pops and he’s certainly not doing  that for free. Of course if they accounts were as transparent as we were promised it would be clearer how much he cost.

I believe the fund has somewhere in the order of three quarters of a million pounds in the bank yet when Kate decided she was too busy to continue raising awareness of her daughter’s disappearance by stuffing cheap tat into envelopes, it seems the awareness raising wasn’t important enough to employ someone to do it. Funny that when paying for someone to say stuff they could say themselves was.

So you don't know how much Clarence is paid (or even if he is paid) or by whom, yet you feel qualified to state as fact that he is paid more than an "envelope stuffer" and is paid by the Fund.  I see.

PS: how much is the going rate for an envelope stuffer?
PPS: what quality gear would you be stuffing into envelopes to raise awareness for your missing child?  Tiffany bangles?

So do you really believe Mitchell may not now be being paid for his work for the McCanns ? Really ?

Of course it’s hard to compare Mitchell’s wage and what the McCanns would pay an envelope stuffer as it appears they don’t think raising awareness is important enough to employ one.

I doubt there can ever have been a missing child of whom there is more awareness than Madeleine, but that is not really the topic of this thread is it?
The additional funding granted to the police to keep working to find out her fate is.

It would be appreciated if members post in accordance with the thread topics in all instances.  Thank you

The latest from the Home Office on 27th March 2018 as linked on this thread said "will be granted" as you have a propensity for using long words n stuff I presume the "will be" will not be lost on you.
The implication of your post being that at some unspecified time between 27th March 2018 and the date of your post the funds were actually made available to The M.P.S. Do share how you came by this information or was the exclusion of I.M.O just a careless oversight on your part ?

I think it's possible Clarence writes the odd press release for free and I think it's possible somenone else pays for his services, like they used to.  Fact is - you don't know.

I am sorry ... I am afraid I do not have a clue what point you are making ... to be honest, I don't even know if it takes note of the important part of my post which was, semantics apart ...

So we know that at one point Mitchell was paid by the fund. Is there any reason to believe that is still not the case ?

Further what we do know for certain, a fact that you are studiously trying to avoid, is that the McCanns didn’t  deem raising awareness of Madeleine’s disappearance important enough to employ someone to send out travel packs etc when Kate was ‘too busy’.

It is strange how other posters understand. Maybe that should tell you something?
Your posting opinion as fact with no caveat was the point. You demonstrate great alacrity in pointing out this deficiency in others.
If my post is off topic then so is yours so I suggest you delete both. The point I wished to convey has been, so with th'orse long since bolted feel free to shut the stable door.
