Do you think the Madeleine McCann case will ever be solved?
« on: December 29, 2017, 11:24:45 PM »
An interesting question which appears on the threads occasionally.

Do you think the Madeleine McCann case will ever be solved?
A malicious prosecution for a crime which never existed. An exposé of egregious malfeasance by public officials.
Indeed, the truth never changes with the passage of time.

Only by accident; unless that is someone coughs.

It would be unusual to say the least for the case not to be solved at some stage and it could very well take someone with information to come forward.  Which in itself poses the other question as to why a reward has not been offered for such information.  The old excuse that it might harm the investigation just doesn't cut the mustard anymore imo.

They know already ? but not well enough?
The main event comes under Portuguese jurisdiction; how do they [ the Portuguese] feel about offering rewards?

There was a huge reward at the beginning- no takers.

There are a few  reasons for this and I am quoting a senior police detective friend. of which I agree.
1. Abduction theory 1 : paedophiles would never snitch especially if there was a violent death with sexual content and this was filmed and distributed.
2. stolen by gypsies- they do tend to stick by one another however there are different types of gypsies groups/families. They are not all thieves, child snatchers- they would probably hand the child back for the reward money at the time.
3. only one or two people know what happened and they are very faithful in a pact of sorts.
4.predators known to the child had to get rid of her in case she spoke up about something untoward.

He mentions a few other scenarios.

Why do you think it would be unusual for the case to remain unsolved?

It might be solved if someone has the guts to speak up.

Couldn't agree more. Do you have someone in mind ?
I believe everything. And l believe nothing.
I suspect everyone. And l suspect no one.
I gather the facts, examine the clues... and before   you know it, the case is solved!"

Or maybe not -

I am probably wrong,  but I have wondered if someone has spoken up already in exchange for something.

You will have to work that out yourself.

Having worked this out for myself... No probably not, or arrests would have been made and the case would be closed. Unless someone just tried to pass of a theory as  fact to what happened...

Immunity from prosecution ? Perhaps Crimewatch and the 'finding' of Crecheman is tied up with just such an offer ?
