I could be wrong, and I have no concrete evidence to support it, but my best guess is that the UK Op Grange was about plodding through the donkey work that hadn't been done by either exhausted force at the time, and Op PT (with far fewer resources) has been concentrating on the sexual assaults and if there is any link there.

To date, whether there is any connection or not, I still haven't heard that Smellyman or NotSmellyman (if they are not the same in all cases) has been identified.

None of those reported incidents led to an abducted child, which may be why the PJ didn't twig at the time... Why on earth not is beyond me as crimes can escalate in nature, but that seems to have been the state of affairs at the time.

It could turn out that there's no connection, but those families deserve closure as well.

It makes sense to me that the UK side has been drilling down through intensive donkey work to eliminate everyone they can from their end, and that the PT side has been concentrating on the sexual assaults.

My reasoning could be wrong, but that would seem logical to me.

Just had a look.

Erm, Davel, that's a generous opinion.  I wonder why the wording sounds just like that used by a certain "research group"?

I will soon publish details of my investigation into the #MadeleineMcCann case including the many inconsistencies in her parents’ accounts of what happened, the Donegal links and how the British media have failed Madeleine and the public by refusing to ask hard questions

If she actually is the real deal as an investigative journalist it could prove as Davel says ... interesting.
"All I'm going to say is that we've conducted a very serious investigation and there's no indication that Madeleine McCann's parents are connected to her disappearance. On the other hand, we have a lot of evidence pointing out that Christian killed her," Wolter told the "Friday at 9"....

Indeed. I wonder if we shall see legal moves to prevent this?
I believe everything. And l believe nothing.
I suspect everyone. And l suspect no one.
I gather the facts, examine the clues... and before   you know it, the case is solved!"

Or maybe not -

Do you think she didn't get tweets like that from 'good catholics' when exposing the sexual abuse perpetrated at Terenure College ?

There's lots of inconsistencies and they are important.
Smithman carrying a child in his arms checked his watch after passing the Smith family and the time was 10:03. Both are still unidentified 10 years later.

That was along the line of my thinking; training and professionalism v the antithesis of that. Then of course there is more than one way to skin a cat on twitter, she may be a believer or she may be the epitome of her profession.
Time will tell.
