How sucessful of a model was Sheila?
« on: January 08, 2013, 10:39:25 AM »
How sucessful was Sheila as a model? Did she earn enough money to live off from it? How long did it last?
I seem to remember hearing in a documentary it said that initially she was sucessful and then it fizzled out-or words to that effect.

Im not sure, Jo.

Sheila was no doubt beautiful, her career in modelling started in the 70's. she did a modelling shoot in Hong Kong.
Maybe work dwindled after she gave birth to the twins? I dont know.

Sheila was reasonable successful early on in her career as a model but marriage and being a mother to twins at such a young age soon took its toll.  Her mental health began to fail as did her modelling career.

Is Sheila buried with Daniel and Nicholas?

Yes. The gravedigger actually climbed down into the grave to place her ashes on the boys' coffin, at their heads, to the annoyance of the undertaker.

You've reminded me of something I had to check. Ralph and June were cremated too, and Bamber ordered that they were all to be cremated with their rings on, and apparently rubbed his hands with glee about it. But Basil Cock saved them and could give Colin Sheila's wedding ring.

Colin thought Jeremy's glee at the thought of disposing of these is because police sometimes use psychics to try to crack murder cases, the psychics also like to use a personal item like clothing or jewellery to get close to the person in question. So disposing of these would mean less chance of a clairvoyant finding out what had happened. I'm not sure I believe that but why else would Jeremy be rubbing his hands with glee at the prospect of this?

The more I hear about Jeremy Bamber the bigger a monster he becomes.  I really must get round to reading Colin's book.  8((()*/

That's right - psychometry. It suprised me, too.
