You seem to be quoting from an article in Publico where the writer claims;
"The reanalysis of the case returns to focus the investigation on the kidnapping thesis"
I have looked at the article and that doesn't seem to be something the PJ said, it seems to be something the journalist said. Apologies if I'm mistaken.
The same journalists who forecast the imminent reopening of Madeleine's case.
The same journalists who knew the Porto team had been on location working in Luz on Madeleine's case.
The same journalists who reported that the team led by Montiero had been on Madeleine's case and on the ground for nearly two years.
The same journalists who were able to report that witnesses from pre 2008 had never been questioned ... justifying the PJ request that the case be reopened.
The same journalists who were enough in the loop to know that the Porto team would do their own thing while the PJ team from Faro continued to do theirs in conjunction with SY.
These journalists appear to have had a seriously accurate overview of the workings of Madeleine's case in Portugal before there was any credence that the PJ were working it at all ~ with the exception of the Faro six.
The accuracy of their informed reports rather encourages me to take it very seriously when they publish ..."The reanalysis of the case returns to focus the investigation on the kidnapping thesis, the main line followed by Scotland Yard, who also opened an investigation into the disappearance of Maddie."
