But at least we know they have both ruled out parental involvement.

Could you provide cites for that statement, or is it just your opinion?

Well, we don't seem to have found convincing circumstantial evidence of abduction. A C Rowley seemed to believe in it, but the PJ don't, they say they don't know what happened.

Rowley tellingly never mentioned stranger abduction though.

G-Unit ... don't you read quotes with which you disagree?  In my opinion the provision of such cites has been provided on the forum on many occasions.

This being just one http://miscarriageofjustice.co/index.php?topic=9278.msg457193#msg457193 as well as the signature underneath.
"All I'm going to say is that we've conducted a very serious investigation and there's no indication that Madeleine McCann's parents are connected to her disappearance. On the other hand, we have a lot of evidence pointing out that Christian killed her," Wolter told the "Friday at 9"....

You seem to be quoting from an article in Publico where the writer claims;

"The reanalysis of the case returns to focus the investigation on the kidnapping thesis"

I have looked at the article and that doesn't seem to be something the PJ said, it seems to be something the journalist said. Apologies if I'm mistaken.

I'm not claiming anything, it's others who're doing that. It's up to those who claim that the meanings are different to provide evidence to support that claim.

Using amarals, standards we could prove it

Then kindly prove it.  That would be most interesting.

But I am not holding my breath.

The same journalists who forecast the imminent reopening of Madeleine's case.

The same journalists who knew the Porto team had been on location working in Luz on Madeleine's case.

The same journalists who reported that the team led by Montiero had been on Madeleine's case and on the ground for nearly two years.

The same journalists who were able to report that witnesses from pre 2008 had never been questioned ... justifying the PJ request that the case be reopened.

The same journalists who were enough in the loop to know that the Porto team would do their own thing while the PJ team from Faro continued to do theirs in conjunction with SY.

These journalists appear to have had a seriously accurate overview of the workings of Madeleine's case in Portugal before there was any credence that the PJ were working it at all ~ with the exception of the Faro six.

The accuracy of their informed reports rather encourages me to take it very seriously when they publish ..."The reanalysis of the case returns to focus the investigation on the kidnapping thesis, the main line followed by Scotland Yard, who also opened an investigation into the disappearance of Maddie."

It's ironic in my opinion that you scoff at Amaral's efforts, but appear to accept Operation Grange's;

 In terms of Andy using the word abduction, she was not old enough to set off and start her own life. However she left that apartment, she has been abducted. It is not a 20-year-old who has gone missing and who has made a decision to start a new life, this is a young girl who is missing and at the heart of this has been an abduction.

The fact that a child is too young to go and start a new life isn't evidence of abduction. Many young children disappear, but it doesn't mean they were abducted.

If you prefer the words of journalists to those of Pedro do Carmo that's your prerogative. The PJ may have been investigating the 'kidnapping thesis' since 2013, but in 2017 do Carmo wasn't prepared to say he believed in it.

I scoff at what amaral regards, as proof... It's basically opinion as you said

Well now, that was a good one.  How many times does he have to say this?

Based on their incontinence in the past, I would be very surprised if the PJ had managed not to let a tiny Anti McCann leak to seap out in five years.  Do you really think the McCanns are so powerful that the PJ are afraid of another so-called “war of attrition”?

I certainly don't think the PJ are afraid of the McCanns. I think that they are giving them no room to cry foul if charges are ever brought.

Look at how the couple made hay with the alleged leaks during the first investigation.
