The robbery at Osea Caravan Park
« on: March 05, 2012, 01:05:41 PM »
It was not known until Julie Mugford spilled the beans on Bamber that he had actually robbed the family business of some £980 in the months before the murders.  June and Nevill Bamber were to go to their deaths not knowing that it was their son and his girlfriend who carried out the robbery and trashed the premises to make it look like an intruder had done it.

Here is Bamber departing from court after having been indicted on the charges of robbing the premises. He had to be escorted from the court by police.

And here is the hero again, lying down with his head covered in the back seat of a police car.

And here he is some time later leaving Maldon Magistrates Court having been arrested and charged with the murders on his return from France.

Isn't it wonderful the difference a few months make?

So Bamber staged managed this crime to look like someone else had committed it then? I think there are some obvious conclusions about stage managing crimes to be drawn from that!

It is my intention to discuss Jeremy Bamber's interview with police at length as soon as Admin have the documents posted but in the meantime this is how the brazen thug talks about the break-in at Osea Caravan Park.  Remember that Julie had already told them what happened.

A malicious prosecution for a crime which never existed. An exposé of egregious malfeasance by public officials.

Interesting how Bamber says he "knew he would be number one suspect but that they couldn't prove it". I am sure he had the same attitude to the murders; from the photos of Bamber going to trial he always has a smug smirk on his face. He was certain they couldn't prove he had murdered his family!

Unlucky Jeremy!   @)(++(*

Doesn't he have a bad attitude to the family business though?  Just thought he would cause mayhem, nick the cash and toss the place so that he could have some money for drinks and things for the house.

Can I ask other members, do you think this is normal behaviour or is there something mentally wrong with the guy?

And then he comes out with the following.

So first it was to get some money for drinks and things and then it was to prove a point.

Problem:  To prove a point you would have to have admitted being involved and handed the money back.  Bamber is thus caught out lying yet again, he had no intention of telling anyone let alone make a point.  He certainly had no intention of giving the money back.

Nevill and June went to their death not knowing he did the robbery and we might never have known had it not been for Julie Mugford.

Lies will always catch you out in the end!   8(0(*

Nice one John......well spotted.  He fell right into the trap on that question but I suppose it was set by the detectives in such a way that he was bound to trip up as he was guilty.  I am looking forward to seeing all the transcripts from his interviews.

It his interesting to read a sociopathic killer's statements in his own words. I am looking forwrad to reading the Bamber statements and the CCRC's final rejection statement.

I have been looking through them quite quickly tonight and when he was asked about the sequence of the calls to Julie and the police on the morning of the murders he stumbled quite badly and the police picked up on it immediately.

It is also interesting that when any damming allegation was put to him in respect of what Julie said, he told the police she was lying.  Yet when they put it to him about Julie's comments about her pills which were prescribed for her by the doctor and about Julie's comments that he had asked her to marry him he had confirmed that this occurred.

The police could see that much of what Julie had said was in fact true but the bits relating to hating his family and wanting to kill them were being denied by him.

Out of interest I saw a comment on the Bamber forum earlier in which Teskowski commented that Jeremy owned up immediately to having robbed the caravan park.  What he isn't telling everyone however is that Jeremy knew that Julie had told the police this earlier so Jeremy lad had no choice but to own up. Not quite the same thing is it Mikey?   8(0(*

He was no match for the police, I have no doubt they saw him as their man from the 8 September 1985.

Jeremy says he phoned the police first and then Julie yet if that is true why did Julie tell him to go back to bed?

Is he trying to tell us that he phoned the police and after all that saga he didn't even tell Julie what he had just done?    Complete bollocks!!   ;D

Just since I remember this, there are a few times where he would not answer the questions put to him by the police and kept looking to his lawyer, Mr Bowler.  Not the actions of an innocent guy?

ITN footage relating to Jeremy's appearance at Chelmsford Magistrates Court on Friday, 13 September 1985.

Jeremy was driven to the Chelmsford magistrates’ court and charged with the burglary and theft of £980 from the Osea Road caravan site on 25 March 1985.

As Jeremy had no police record and was being accused of only a minor offence, he was released on unconditional bail and remanded to appear again on October 16. He emerged from the court with his white fisherman’s sweater pulled over his head and was guided into the police transit van without replying to any of the questions thrown at him from the hungry crowd of reporters.

Following his appearance he was driven to Chelmsford Police Station where friends collected him.

From the horses mouth Jeremys share in the caravan park is one of the first things he will be fighting to get back at any cost if his conviction is overturned

Miss Preece quoting her conversations with Lord Bamber of Full Sutton himself. It's nice to know just how hurt Bamber was when he lost his shares in the caravan park in court.  ;D

Poor Jeremy

Definitely the wrong end of the horse, Jackie.

I don't know who's dafter - JB for feeding her this stuff (if indeed he does) or her for believing it.
