Why didn't the McCanns hear a child crying when they opened the patio door at 11.45pm? Mrs Fenn was quite precise about when the crying ceased & who opened the door.

Exactly. Why didn’t they say that they had heard a child crying ? Possibly because it was theirs?

Who else heard a child crying for that length of time?  Did anyone?  What about the occupants of apartment 5J of the rotting fridge contents?  I believe they may have vacated the premises on the 4th May ... did the police bother to trace them and ask what they may have seen or heard during their occupancy?

Surely if they’d heard anything they would have mentioned it when they were accused of it being Madeleine.

They couldn't possibly admit to that!  An even more quicker question- if they could see the apartment  and were just 30 seconds away, like sitting in the garden why didn't they see anyone enter  or leave by the patio door OR hear the children crying. I challenge their whole story  based on these 'little' things. The every half hour is also challenged.

but it is fun to read Faith.  all the independent witnesses being torn to shreds- one really has to wonder what motivates supporters to go to such lengths.

Kate told others about the open window within minutes of discovering it. Mrs Fenn waited over 3 months before telling the police what she allegedly heard. Rather like the Smith family, Madeleine was not at the forefront of her thoughts. IMO.

and upon discovering it  deduced her daughter was abducted but didn't tell the police her daughter was abducted  just that she was missing. Tsk.

When listening to a sound you may not be able to pinpoint where it is coming from but you do know if it’s on top or below you.

5B was Oldfield, 5H was Payne, Tanner in 5D. If the McCanns had been checking they couldn’t have avoided hearing the crying if it was one of their friend’s children.

We’re told by supporters that Mrs Fenn may have been hard of hearing yet on the other hand that she may have been hearing a child cry several doors away. Which is it ?
