What nonsense is this?  Are you seriously being that pedantic?

I don’t believe that you are imprecise in your English.

Are you trying to educate me again?

As both I and Alice P was talking of a hypothetical situation (ie rustling up a freezer in aforeign land at short notice) I’m not quite sure what you are asking a cite for? My point was, hiring a freezer at short notice might be eminently do-able if it is simply for storing your Soleros in, however hiring a freezer at short noticr big enough to store a corpse in requires also somewhere secret to put the freezer away from the eyes of the police, a slightly more complex conundrum for anyone that has drawn the attention of thenpolice and the world’s media to their missing child.

I would imagine someone would come forward and say   'hey the McCann's hired a freezer after Madeleine disappeared'  wouldn't you?

Being non-residents, I doubt they would be able to hire a freezer or anything similar.

I hired a car on holiday once, and I wasn’t a resident!

Is a car similar to a freezer? I think not.

Depends whether the freezer is fitted with wheels and how far you want to go in it.

The only slightly complex part is keeping it secret but someone successfully did that in the Noblett case for in excess of 60 years and still counting. It thus being clearly not an insurmountable problem. The hard ware bit is easy; a suitably sized freezer a power source and a housing of some description.

But "don't look over there look here".

I might solve the problem by asking myself "where /how can I find somewhere with a temperature of 2 degrees to 4 degrees Centipede?". Then I might scratch my head to recall all the clever things guys did in hot countries with stone and natural ventillation for similar purposes.

This case you keep quoting - I've looked it up.  I think they the circumstances are barely comparable.  For a start the police have literally no idea who dunnit.  Therefore that person who did it may have planned the murder well in advance, procuring a freezer quite comfortably in advance of the murder and installed in the privacy of their own home for just that purpose.  This is at odds with Amaral's theory that MAdeleine died accidentally whilst on holiday and was put into a freezer for 23 days.  What freezer?  Where?  How did holiday makers avail themselves of a secret freezer for that length of time?

I was a bit closer than just looking it up.
The reason I bring it up is that the body was stored in a freezer or maybe a Letchworth Bacon Factory refrigerated truck. Which rather shows up those who have consistently ridiculed the idea of bodies put in freezers.

Of course bodies of little girls aged nearly 4 carrying tennis balls in a case where the SIO is a Portuguese with initials GA. That  might be different.
However the principle of bodies in freezers and "doing simple tasks in faraway places" are well established.

Very well established... Amarals had two cases
