Finding a freezer
« on: June 25, 2018, 06:51:40 PM »
How would one go about finding a freezer in which to hide a dead body for several weeks when you're on holiday in a foreign country?

I think this is one of those situations where you ask a friend.
I believe everything. And l believe nothing.
I suspect everyone. And l suspect no one.
I gather the facts, examine the clues... and before   you know it, the case is solved!"

Or maybe not -

A local friend or one you went on holiday with?

How do you broach the subject though?

Suppose it would depend on why you wanted said item and how good a friend your friend was.

ELECTRO-LUZ - PHOTOZOOM -  ( N )
A general electrical goods shop. Telly's, HiFi etc.. Photographic supplies (Film, Batteries etc.).
WHERE: Opposite side of the road to the Baptista supermarket, beneath the apartment block / Commercial Centre.
C. Com. Edifício Luztur.

Was this shop there in 2007?
Did it stock freezers?

"All I'm going to say is that we've conducted a very serious investigation and there's no indication that Madeleine McCann's parents are connected to her disappearance. On the other hand, we have a lot of evidence pointing out that Christian killed her," Wolter told the "Friday at 9"....

Well there you go - a shop. Look no further. Though you might still need a friend to help out with the lingo.
Possibly even buy it for you if you happen to be all maxed out on the old credit card.

There is actually a very serious point at issue.
The detective in charge of Madeleine's case has placed great emphasis on Madeleine's remains being frozen and transported in the vehicle hired by her parents twenty three days after she disappeared.
Therefore making a connection between Madeleine's death ~ the involvement of her parents ~ and a freezer.

For that to work ... there has to be a freezer.

the only freezer that I found mentioned in the file was the one at the Tapas Restaurant.  It sounded like a quite a large freezer possibly a walk-in type as might be found in a butchery.
The word to search for might be "chiller".

Look up Miguel Salcedos Coelho.

"On that night everything was normal as on other days and he did not see anyone or any situation out of the ordinary in the restaurant.

When questioned, he says that he did not notice when the guests left, at about 22.00 his cousin told him what had happened, seeing as the witness had been inside the fridge (cold store).

When questioned he said that he did not see anything unusual."

Was it possible for a wandering child to have been trapped in there?

Or maybe it doesn’t, work. The archiving report doesn’t appear to contain any diligences done on the matter.

Why not I wonder, when that was his theory, the one that appeared in his best selling book.

His bosses didn't always agree with Amaral,as seen when they took him off the case.

Probably because it’s not credible ?
