Quite unusual behaviour for a so called "guilty party" don't you think?

Hiring a car? Why?

Well done, VS.  you have wrapped the whole freezer scenario really well.   8@??)(

Even if they won't admit it, it must have made a good few sceptics stop and think

Not at all but curious that you used the word wrapped about a theory of a body in a freezer.

This irony thing must be catching *%87
Smithman carrying a child in his arms checked his watch after passing the Smith family and the time was 10:03. Both are still unidentified 10 years later.

Are you thinking she could have been vacuum packed or such like?

That;s not the only way to interpret that decision.

In my opinion members have been unable to come up with any realistic proposal which might point to the Amaral theory that Madeleine's body was hidden by her parents; was later removed and frozen;  was transported while defrosting sometime after twenty three days when her parents hired a car.

It is not surprising that there is no basis to support such a theory.  Maybe time to add it to the Myths thread?

Amaral couldn't substantiate it or even provide any proof of his assertion that Madeleine died in the holiday apartment and in my opinion no-one here has come even close to explaining how the parents could have achieved such a thing.
"All I'm going to say is that we've conducted a very serious investigation and there's no indication that Madeleine McCann's parents are connected to her disappearance. On the other hand, we have a lot of evidence pointing out that Christian killed her," Wolter told the "Friday at 9"....

Mark Harrison was probably nearer the mark.

Note by Editor:

Please keep all conversations civil, constructive and to the point. Let's try and get through the weekend with as few reports as possible being made.

Have a great weekend everyone.

According to Kate's book they hired the car to make getting around easier once they decided to stay on 'for the long haul'.

Turned out not to be so long afterall. As the stories were coming out about unlocked doors, and them planning to leave the children alone every night anyway. AND their behaviour being questioned- they became unlikable  IMO.
It didn't help either that their kidnapping claims were put under scrutiny...
