You were asked for a cite, and you know your reply.  "Cadaver is not confirmed" is not a cite.  Even if it was correct it wasn't a cite.  When we are asked for a cite we should give cite not more opinion.

It is a great puzzle to me exactly why Eddie alerted as often as he did and only in the McCann apartment out of the whole of Luz where he was involved in extensive searching.
Martin Grime has said that substances used to look for blood could affect DNA results.  We know the original Portuguese forensic examiners used such initially in the apartment.  Might the residual smell from that have affected Eddie in some way? ... particularly as he became excited on his way into the apartment.
Did he know he was at a crime scene where there was something to be found?

"All I'm going to say is that we've conducted a very serious investigation and there's no indication that Madeleine McCann's parents are connected to her disappearance. On the other hand, we have a lot of evidence pointing out that Christian killed her," Wolter told the "Friday at 9"....

I have to agree, the alerts could have been to many substances including cadaver scent so we mustn't make assumptions.
A malicious prosecution for a crime which never existed. An exposé of egregious malfeasance by public officials.
Indeed, the truth never changes with the passage of time.

You have given a cite now but you hadn't before.  The rule was when asked for a cite you give one or the post will be deleted.  They are the rules ATM.

Misty started the other thread not a sceptic. If she hadn't started the thread we wouldn't be discussing it now. Who is the "would be sleuth" here, IMO it is Misty.

Martin Grime believed Eddie had found a "scent he recognises" i.e. cadaver odour.

Ok what was done was we deployed the victim recovery dog into the apartment and by experience and the training of the dog what I first noticed is that as soon as I came in that the dog was very excited and as a handler I can pick up his body language etc and it would appear to me that as soon as he has come into the house he's picked up a scent that he recognises and he has then gone through the apartment trying to source where that scent source has come from and as he has worked through the house the only two places where he picks up enough scent to give me the bark alert are in this bedroom, in this corner where he was barking.

do you have a cite for your point in red.....grime never said Eddie had found cadaver odour.  Cadaver odour is only a possibility

Indeed something was found which tested as blood ... from an area under the tiles.

What else do you think was found?

Well like you i wasn't there - or involved in the investigation.... to know what else was found.

words of someone who was.

What is proved

Therefore:

1. The abduction theory is defended by Maddie's parents since the first moment;

2. Within the group, only her parents stated that they observed the open window in the missing girl's bedroom; the majority cannot witness it faithfully because they arrived at the apartment after the alarm was raised;

3. The only statement outside of the group that mentions the open window and the raised shutters comes from Amy, one of the Ocean Club's nannies, who points her observation towards 10.20/10.30 p.m., which is some time after the alarm was raised and does not prove that it was open like that at the time when the crime happened;

4. The set of depositions and witness statements exposes a high number of imprecision, incongruence and contradictions – which, in some cases, may be typified as false testimonies. In particular, the key statement for the abduction theory, from Jane Tanner, which loses all credibility due to the fact that it successively evolved throughout various moments in time, becoming ambiguous and disqualifying itself;

5. There is a cadaver that has not been located, a conclusion that is validated by the English EVRD and CSI dogs and corroborated by the preliminary lab test results.

It is entirely possible that police know precisely what happened, but are not prepared to announce it to all and sundry.
I believe everything. And l believe nothing.
I suspect everyone. And l suspect no one.
I gather the facts, examine the clues... and before   you know it, the case is solved!"

Or maybe not -
