Was the dog in question Eddie?  Not all cadaver dogs equal?  SIL is finding his cadaver dog is finding all sorts of cadavers.

Sil doesn't have a cadaver dog

Eddie was an Enhanced VRD, the only one there has ever been.  He was the Top of the heap.  Best nose in the business.  Never wrong.  A Superdog.  All others pale into insignificance.

Interesting, nothing in that article proves Eddie was alerting to the coconut shell.

You are absolutely  right... And nothing proves Edie alerted to cadaver or keela alerted to blood in PDL... Have a coconut

A dog that finds road kill is still a cadaver dog in my book.

Gosh.  You’re quite right.
Apart from this bit of course.
“The scientists, led by the lab's deputy director, Dr Tom Higham, were so concerned by Mr Harper's continued insistence that the fragment was human bone that they wrote to him formally on May 1.

They restated their findings and added that they had been endorsed by a second opinion from a leading bone expert, palaeontologist Dr Roger Jacobi.

"We concluded that the sample was not in fact bone but almost certainly a piece of wood," the letter said.

"Its curvature may have had something to do with it being misidentified. It appears to be more likely a seed casing or a small piece of coconut. Our conclusion is that this sample is a) not bone and b) not human."

Do you actually know what a cadaver is?

How does any of that prove what Eddie was alerting to?

The sample was “not in fact bone”.  So what was it?  It doesn’t really matter if it was a coconut or a coco pop.  It wasn’t human.  FACT.

It’s not for me to prove it, it’s for the scientists who proved that what he alerted to did not originate from a human.  Do you think those responsible for excavating the site missed all the human remains and only submitted the coconut shell for analysis?
