Jeremy Bamber - Who made the decision to cremate the adults?

I have never seen this discussed anywhere else so wondered if anyone knows?  I am assuming that Jeremy, being next of kin, made this decision before anyone woke up to the fact that he may have been involved.

Was it the right thing to do or was this simply another attempt to get rid of evidence?

There doesn't seem to be anything 'concrete' that I can find. I can only think they'd be the same age as my grandparents (Neville and June), 3 of mine are all cremated because 'they didn't want someone having to be put out tending the grave stone'. It might be nothing sinister 9but it might), plus I'd imagine how many burial plots were awailable in the area and if there was space to buy them together if they wanted that.
I have read on another site that it would be June's religious belief to be buried but I'm not aware as to what religion she followed or whether she went to church that didn't specify instruction for death, most religions now accept that due to burial plots being 'sparce' that cremation is allowed where necessary and I'd assume if someone hadn't specified, that a cremation would have taken place.
From what I've been reading, its usually parent who have lost children that prefer to have a burial, I can understand that.

JB's decision i think. He said his parents were not whole and therefore should be cremated.

Ann and her mother Pamela spent some time with the vicar discussing the funeral, so whether cremation was decided on then is anybody's guess.
The state of the parents' bodies may have played a part, so it was convenient for Bamber to make that decision, but I don't see how this could have applied to Sheila with only two small wounds.

Colin was upset that Sheila was cremated as he would have preferred to have her buried 'whole', but the decision was out of his hands.

Jeremy's argument doesn't hold much water as the twins were buried and they both sustained several shots each to their heads causing terrible injuries.  I would have thought that Colin had the final say in this and if it had been left to jeremy they would have been cremated too.

For any new readers it is worth pointing out that Sheila was cremated and her ashes placed in the grave alongside her sons coffins.  That must have been a terrible sight to behold.

Its mentioned in the Lomax book, it was JB's decision. Its also mentioned elsewhere.
The twins funeral was arranged by their father and Jb didnt have a say on it.
