Certainly not, it was blatantly obvious fairly early on that the McCanns were under suspicion, from about day 1 if I recall correctly.

So the only difference between then and now is that the police of both countries have managed to stop the leaks.

Have they?  How did we know the names of all the most recent arguidos then?

I presume you know what your search found.
Yes, and this was the most relevant and recent, is it the one you were referring to or not?

Oh, right so they only managed to stop the leaks at a time convenient for you and your beliefs, I see...  Do you actually believe there are secret arguidos in this case then?

No I don’t but what I do believe is that if we can be told in 2007 that the parents were not suspects even when they were it is possible that the same thing is happening now.

The parents silenced. Rowley’s ‘not suspects’ interview removed from the Met’s website as well as all other information related to OG. You have to admit it doesn’t look good.

If only you were as hopeful that the child had been found instead of the parents absolved.

No it just doesn't look good at all. SY were sent in to 'review' you know, look over all the statements and 'evidence' gathered. They reviewed and then found there to be no evidence of an abductor. Yes, they followed a few leads, up garden paths and the like.

What they didn't do was... They didn't critizise the PJ with the way they handled the investigation, well how the hell could they they came up with an empty cup themselves OR did they come to the same conclusion as the pj?

If the parents were suspects there is nothing anyone can do without evidence.  I do believe MBM will reveal herself and what happened to her in some way some day. Washed up, uncovered, someone talks...

Given that I said I would not provide a cite, why do you ask?

If only you were as hopeful that the child had been found instead of the parents absolved.

That is the most accurate observation regarding this whole thread- every thread is about defending the parents even when their behaviour is noted as being inconsistant as parents whos daughter was abducted by 'paedophiles' according to the parents.

At what point, if ever, will you accept that the McCanns are not being investigated?  What would the police have to say or do to convince you, is there anything at all that would?

At what point, if ever, will you understand what I say? I don't know what the police are investigating and neither do you. You are peddling a belief, not a fact.
