I didn’t set out to advise anyone on how a police investigation should be conducted, only to point out the complete stupidity of the premise “perhaps the PJ are eliminating eveyome else before starting on the McCanns”. I don't think it's rocket science...you gather evidence.....and investigate based on that evidence. The idea that if you can't find a perpetrator it has to be the parents obviously doesn't make sense...

Erm no, it was a question, asking you about your beliefs.  A simple “never” would have sufficed, if that were true.  Nowehere in that sentence do I claim you said that the McCanns are about to be arrested.  It’s really not that hard to understand is it?

As I said, only those who understand the written word will see that I did not accuse Faithlilly of stating that the McCanns are about to be arrested.  I don’t know why this nothing point has been blown out of all proportion.  I’m prepared to accept that at no time since 3rd May 2007 has Faithlilly ever believed that the McCanns were about to be arrested, even in September 2007 when even I believed it looked possible.  Furthermore, I am prepared to accept that when Faithlilly refers to “worrying times” a propos this case, she is not in any way implying that she believes the Met are circling in on the McCanns and that their days as free agents are numbered.  We will simply have to privately guess at her meaning as she refuses to explain her comment.  There, dignity utterly intact!
