I think it could be inaccurate... I don't think we can safely say any of the statements, are accurate.  Kate has, already said there's, weren't and they made new ones

Well there's inaccurate and then there's inaccurate.  I guess PF could have been mistaken over the day/timings but this could have been checked at the time by investigating authorities looking at phone records: PF to Edna Glyn.  I don't think there's any doubt she heard prolonged crying from 5A and even if her account is totally unreliable in every aspect if she was letting others effectively know small children were home alone in 5A and the patio doors unsecured it was a green light for any would be abductor!

There's no doubt in my mind that MM was abducted from 5A and intelligence for the abduction was gleaned from PF.  PF's wit stat is dated 20th Aug 2007 and I believe this was the first time investigating authorities contacted her by which time Amaral had already seized on the McCanns.
Just my opinion of course but Jeremy Bamber is innocent and a couple from UK, unknown to T9, abducted Madeleine McCann - motive unknown.  Was J J murdered as a result of identifying as a goth?

I agree imo that would be the most sensible course of action but we don't know what thoughts went through her mind during the incident.  It seems from her wit stat she was concerned that it might have been connected to burglary/attempted burglary given she was the victim of such a week prior to the McCanns arrival.

Again if the abductor gleaned all this intelligence from PF:

- Children home alone
- Patio doors unsecured

it makes me wonder if the abductor also learned of PF's recent attempted burglary and staged the shutter/window from within in an attempt to throw PF and investigating authorities.

No need to investigate any further. It's already been solved by a non-professional ghost-hunting crank...

At the time of the crying she may not have known whether or not the children were home alone but come 11.45 pm she may have deduced they were as the crying ceased upon her hearing the patio doors slide open although she did not actually see the McCanns.

The patio doors could have been opened for a variety of reasons, so why would she deduce it was because both parents were entering the apartment? She admits she didn't see them.

Mrs Fenn lived permanently above 5a so was well aware of those particular sounds associated with people coming and going.  She probably heard the parents voices followed by the opening of the patio door so put two and two together.

That's not what she said, however. I wonder why she heard the patio doors on 1st but heard nothing on 3rd until 10:30pm?

Read her wit stat G-Unit...

When asked, she replied that on 3rd May she did not hear any noise from the McCann apartment, not even the opening of doors. She also said that before hearing the shouts she was watching television, as she often stays up late.

What was her definition of "late"?

She also refers to the day of the 1st May 2007, when she was at home alone, at approximately 22.30 she heard a child cry, and that due the tone of the crying seemed to be a young child and not a baby of two years of age or younger. Apart from the crying that continued for approximately one hour and fifteen minutes, and which got louder and more expressive, the child shouted ?Daddy, Daddy?, the witness had no doubt that the noise came from the floor below. At about 23.45, an hour and fifteen minutes after the crying began, she heard the parents arrive, she did not see them, but she heard the patio doors open, she was quite worried as the crying had gone on for more than an hour and had gradually got worse.

On 1st May PF claims the crying started at 10.30 pm to 11.45 pm.

On 3rd May KM raised the alarm re MM's disappearance at circa 10 pm.

PF may well have listened to the teli during the evenings including the 10 pm news and then retired to her bed by circa 10.30 pm hence anything post circa 10.30 pm she was able to hear clearly as her apartment was without background noise.

No-one knows why she heard nothing until 10:30pm on 3rd May, but the fact is that she didn't.

I disagree.  Firstly KM's book states a woman with a rather plummy accent (any accent South of the Watford Gap is considered 'plummy' by Liverpudlians) inquired what all the noise was about.  What time was that?  Secondly they are clearly two different time zones:

1st May

- 10.30 pm - 11.45 pm heard what she thought was MM crying and calling 'Daddy, daddy'...

3rd May

- Pre 10 pm when she heard nothing
- Circa 10 pm when KM raised the alarm and PF inquired what all the noise was about.
- Circa 10.30 pm when PF claims she offered up her tel to GM.

Pre 10.30 pm.  Post 10.30 pm.

Can I ask why you persist in referring to Kate’s book as a “book” when you know it annoys some members of the forum?  Do you have a problem with people from Liverpool and how they speak?

I find you continued use of the word book quite childish.  I find your belief you have solved the case when you obviously
haven't quite childish... I cant take any of your posts seriously... I wonder if others feel the same and that is why the forum has gone so quiet
