KM is rather judgmental in her book: referring to GNR/PJ as Tweedledee and Tweedledum and PF as having a 'plummy accent'.  I could go on and on but why bother?

Are you repeatedly reminded of a single reference made over twelve years ago in a moment of the greatest distress and to be criticised for it?

How do you think that will help amateurs to solve Madeleine's case?
"All I'm going to say is that we've conducted a very serious investigation and there's no indication that Madeleine McCann's parents are connected to her disappearance. On the other hand, we have a lot of evidence pointing out that Christian killed her," Wolter told the "Friday at 9"....

Why do you type the word "book" instead of book when mentioning Kate's book?

Self-amusement.
Just my opinion of course but Jeremy Bamber is innocent and a couple from UK, unknown to T9, abducted Madeleine McCann - motive unknown.  Was J J murdered as a result of identifying as a goth?

It just seems an unnecessary and insulting way to change the word book to "book" in order to make fun of a regional accent .
I'm sure the McCanns don't care but I do find it tiresome.

It's easy to criticise the posting style of others when you're only watching on from the sidelines.

If folk get wound up by the use of "Amaral" or "book" it sounds to me as though they have low levels of tolerance.  How about focusing on post content as opposed to the odd re-arranged letter?
The whole point is that your misspelling of "book" does exactly focus on the tone and context of the post.

Neither, though what I do find amusing is people claiming to be upset about such trivia.

Right so let's have a playing field and get rid of all auto-correct then that is used on words that inflame and goad.  Kindly have a word with your boss and get it sorted asap.

It seems you are determined to provoke further with every post you make, why?

Self-amusement.
Knowing that it provokes a negative reaction is not a good look for a moderator IMO.

It's easy to criticise the posting style of others when you're only watching on from the sidelines.

That does seem like a rebuke!.
However, even watching from the sidelines does give one the right to commentate when one is inclined to do so.
I've not criticised any of your posts, including your theory ones, but the use of the word b**k  has been an irritant to me for some time and I do believe I have mentioned this previously.
You are not alone in the use of the word b**k but it's quite a wee while since it has been used.
Probably going back to the sidelines now.
Deal with the failings of others as gently as with your own.

Kate describes events surrounding the disappearance of a dearly loved child in her book.  I suppose it is a matter of opinion whether or not that could be described as a moment of great distress.  I know what I think and I have had a fair inkling of your thoughts on the matter for quite some time.

Accuracy? As opposed to sweeping statements about Liverpudlians and a supposed North/South divide.

Quite, but I get entertainment, whereas I doubt you can claim the same.  ?{)(**

Do you suppose this could be part of Holly's greater plan to get us all singing from the same hymn sheet?
