Davel re your comment re my suspects/MET, as I've previously posted afaik my suspects have not lived in UK since 2005 therefore all the MET can do is pass on any intelligence to the country where the crime was committed and the current country of residence which I believe to be Portugal.   Given the secrecy laws in Portugal surrounding the reporting on criminal cases what would you expect to see/hear this early on?
Just my opinion of course but Jeremy Bamber is innocent and a couple from UK, unknown to T9, abducted Madeleine McCann - motive unknown.  Was J J murdered as a result of identifying as a goth?

Given that you think Maddie is actually  with this couple... Given that you have named this couple... And uts quite obvious who they are. .the Cats out of the bag... After 3 months I would have expected Maddue to have been found and the culpruts arrested

What is childish is continuing to goad and take the p, when you have been asked politely not to do so, particularly when you’re a moderator.

Admin/John and moderators decide the boundaries based on many factors and as far as I know none of us wish to model ourselves on the late Mary Whitehouse.

I would suggest if some here are so offended by my play on a word using the letters ew instead of oo to emphasise a Liverpudlian accent then public internet forums are probably not the place for them.

I seem to recall someone here removed a hyphen from a member's forum name to form the name gunnit instead of G-Unit which I thought rather disrespectful although I never commented and afaik neither did G-Unit.

Anyway hows about you making a positive contribution to the forum by way of a case related post and/or starting up a thread for debate instead of popping up all the time at the slightest whiff of any discord.

I don't think making a ridiculous claim that you've solved the case amounts to a positive contribution to the forum

It's all about opinion

Although I'm sure, in my own mind, on my suspect(s)/theory I've always said I can't be sure of the motive.  And you will also note that I use the word 'suspect(s)' as I can't be sure whether both were involved or one acted alone and if the latter which one.

How do you know they haven't?

And I think your overuse of the word 'ridiculous' reduces its effect to zero.

Are you suggesting they may have been arrested...

I haven't suggested anything but you seem sure that MM hasn't been found, dead or alive, and arrests haven't been made?

I'm sure, we would have heard if she had been found

I haven't suggested anything.  You have suggested that if my theory/suspect(s) passed to OG are correct then you would expect MET to have taken action, MM found and arrests made.  I'm asking you if any such action has been taken how/when would you expect this to be communicated the general public?

Do you think something as big as that could be kept quiet

I think they did very well in terms of identifying and interviewing everyone who worked at the Ocean Club. It's down to their hard work that we know where every worker says they were on the evening of 3rd May. By contrast we know very little about the whereabouts of most of the holidaymakers that evening.

PJ was able to do this effectively as the OC employees were part of the static population of PDL.  Much of the PDL population was highly transient in that they were holidaymakers many of whom departed on Sat 5th May and some visitors would not have featured on anyone's radar.
