The impending prorogation decision by the Supreme Court now consisting of eleven justices will be the most important to come out of a British court for many years. This decision is of such importance that two additional justices were added at the weekend.

In my opinion this will be the decider as to whether we leave the EU on the 31st October or kick the can even further down the road. I really cannot see it rule against the UK government so the cases brought by Joana Cherry and Gina Miller claiming that the prorogation of Parliament was illegal must fail imo. Ruling against the executive at this stage could be the catalyst for events which could not have been envisaged three years ago.

Parliament must learn that it is the servant of the people and not the other way round. MPs have a duty to their electorate, they are not free to espouse privately held opinions and beliefs. Some really need to take this onboard before the next General Election otherwise it will be their last as an elected member. I have a feeling the silent majority are about to make their mark yet again.

The Supreme Court will find in favour of the Government or I'm a Monkey's Uncle.  I think it's obvious Boris lied to the Queen and prorogued to get Brexit through, but I'm not sure that such scheming Machiavellian behaviour is or should be illegal.  They are all at it to some degree or other, it's what politics is, isn't it?

I would add it is the silent majority who did vote leave saved this country from a right wing Nazi style government by ignoring the social issues and leaving their voices to be heard via BNP and such like.

Corbyn knows this and thinks being an alternative  ie stalinist wil set against the fascists. old wars !

There are some who actually believe a no deal brexit means we will shut borders and never let trade pass between two countries. I mean how stoopid are these idiots who claim to 'speak for the majority'

  In case you hadn’t noticed many people don’t accept the policies of any given government, especially not those in opposition who sit in the HoC.  What do you want to do about it?  Of course voters can change governments every 5 years, do we get a similar opportunity with our membership of the EU?

I don't think there was ever any realistic chance of the Lib Dems forming a government, and I don't think anyone else was really claiming there was. However, you.gov polls now put the Lib Dems second after Conservatives. This is a massive increase in the share of the potential vote and surely, if anything, shows a resurgence in support for the Lib Dems ever since they took such a strong Remain position under Jo Swinson.

What does this even mean? It sort of sounds like you're saying that people who voted leave, if they hadn't been given a chance to vote leave, would have ended up voting for a right wing Nazi style party. If that is what you're saying... I sort of agree.
