John also reinstates comments if he doesn't agree.  Is that okay as well?

I don't criticise, it's an observation. I do think mods delete and modify with a biased impunity - but I only see it happening to 'sceptics'. Bob seems to be the most even handed.
I don't see much of John's input as I'm only here sporadically and my posts are pretty useless in getting to the nub of the issues - I like to be ephemeral. But I don't see John's ego taking hold.
Having said all that, it may be that my own bias also clouds my judgement of the 'problem'.
Is it a problem? I don't know. Is there an endemic abuse problem? I don't see that either.

My complains have been about editing/removal of my posts.

If John has to delete shedloads of rubbish which his moderators have ignored and reinstate comments which they shouldn't have deleted it seems to me like these unselfish helpful moderators are adding to his workload, not lessening it.

Unfortunately i think your bias does cloud your judgement....Rob...imo...and its been noted by others...mounted a campaign of harrassment against me...that fortunately has been stopped
