SY

I'm not sure I have criticized SY in this case?  Just questioned what they have they spent resources on.
Just my opinion of course but Jeremy Bamber is innocent and a couple from UK, unknown to T9, abducted Madeleine McCann - motive unknown.  Was J J murdered as a result of identifying as a goth?

In any event I don't consider SY experts in the MH/DB sense.

About DB.  I have amended my post cos I haven't the time and energy to research it all again.

IMO, if the video showing him with his team in PdL is anything to judge by, he is a waste of space in some ways

Sorry to have to have said it, but his logic is lacking at times.

When he examined the view of 5A on a photograph, he came to silly conclusions.  This photo was taken from the Rua Maio region and not from the tapas restaurant area where the tapas goup sat.   The two views were completely different.  He made a nonsense of it imo.

There were other things that I noticed but I have spent hours on another thread trying to find things and I am absolutely done in.

All IMO, but please look at the video again and critically assess it yourselves

"Simpler is correct. The grammar rule is words with two syllables or less generally become comparatives by adding -er to the end and words with three syllables or more are made comparative by adding more before the word. Examples: Nice - Nicer (Because the word nice has only one syllable.)"

Sorry to have to have said it, but his logic is lacking in several ways ... and his humble team all agree with him.  I wonder if they would have done had he not been a professor and so authoritive.

I find DBs comment Re hiding a body in Luz to be far from a waste of space... It's seem to be based on sound reasoning and logic.... Something lacking in those who think they have solved the case

Both simpler and more simple are correct.... Your rule for comparatives is incomplete

I think much of what he says in the Dispatches video is absolutely spot on particularly in relation to the forensics the results of which neither he nor anyone not involved in the investigation had had the opportunity to study in detail.

Snip
'Forensic science is not just about a single test result,' says Barclay. 'It's about setting it in context.'

He is particularly sceptical about the reported presence of bodily fluids found in the McCanns' hire car.

'You've got to work out where the body has been and how it got transported in the car that wasn't hired until 25 days after Madeleine disappeared,' he says.

'It's almost incomprehensible. So we should just wait and see what the results show before leaping to any conclusions. It's not beyond the bounds of possibility that they will exonerate the McCanns.'

Indeed, the whole way the investigation has been run by Portuguese police is of deep concern for our experts.

Similarly the rest of the team of experts expressed their concerns regarding the conduct of the case in relation to their own areas of expertise.
Quite an eye opener ... and not one of them including the search expert entertained the feasibility that the Tapas nine had the local knowledge to overcome the difficulties of locale and terrain to make Madeleine vanish in the way she had.
"All I'm going to say is that we've conducted a very serious investigation and there's no indication that Madeleine McCann's parents are connected to her disappearance. On the other hand, we have a lot of evidence pointing out that Christian killed her," Wolter told the "Friday at 9"....

By search expert do you mean Mark Harrison? Did he give an opinion about local knowledge?
