There are people who prefer not to engage with the newspapers, perhaps Dr Totman is one of them. The findmadeleine website is not an authority on anything. Clearly OG didn't share the identity of the man they found.

I don't have a clue who the man OG referred to is. Strangely his name never came up, despite him being photographed. Perhaps he's got no media friendly friends and aquaintances.

I have read his name mentioned and that of another couple in at least two blogs many moons before anyone heard of DCI Redwood so he was hardly invisible one of which was authored by Paulo Reis and one of which may have been textusa although I cannot remember and care even less.

The idea it isn't Dr T is bonkers imo.  It was low season and by all accounts few people about.  The description of Dr T and child (his daughter) are uncannily similar to the description given by JT.
