I recall from KM's PB that shortly after MM disappeared, on the advice of lawyer Edward Smethurst (think it was him), the McCanns changed something legally between themselves and MM? 

The age of majority in Portugal, as with many developed countries, is 18 yoa; I'm wondering if the authorities are just biding their time until MM reaches age of majority?

1. 'Abductors' may or may not exist. Madeleine's 'special DNA' is not a fact, it's an opinion with no supporting evidence. There is no evidence that anyone wants to use Madeleine to breed from.

2. Whether a child is conceived naturally or by IVF it's DNA is made up of 50% from the mother and 50% from the father. If there's more than one male suspect for the fatherhood of a child DNA testing can find the culprit.

Sadie what evidence do you have that supports the idea MM has special DNA and/or pure blood? 

GM and KM descend from working class Irish Catholic parents so how can MM be as you've described?

Surnames can be changed for a variety of reasons, so aren't reliable in chasing down biological descent.
