We all know June was religious but it doesn't make sense to reach for a bible when you have been shot multiple times and in severe pain. One would reach for the wounds. Besides which June doesn't need reminding of the contents of the good book she could recite a passage from heart.

I never said it was enough to secure a referral to Coa but it will feature as an additional point and given the appeal judges have already said they will rule in JB's favour where exhibits have been destroyed its game over for the idea JB planted the bible.

Carol Ann Lee states in her book that the bible was returned to the surviving relatives in 2006, and I have seen that stated elsewhere on threads here preceding the time her book was published.

In times of crisis the religious turn to God.  This can be evidenced by Kate McCann turning to the bible physically and spiritually.
