Please could you provide a link to the source of the information I have bolded.

Chapter 39 of CAL’s book

Part Quote:  DI Cook, DS Davidson & forensic scientist Brian Elliot scrutinised the downstairs shower room window and observed scratches and marks on the paintwork and brass catch ‘consistent with a thin blade having been inserted between the closely fitting sashes in an effort to force the window open’.

That same window had been freshly painted just a few months previously.

They found a blade outside tucked amongst overgrowth which bore smears of brass from the window catch, including the same paint from the window frame.

The blade was proven to belong to Jeremy.

When under caution, Jeremy admitted he’d used it, claiming he’d broken into WHF on the weekend after his release from custody, claiming he’d left his car documents at WHF.

Records proved that on that weekend — 15 and 16 September — the surveillance team placed Jeremy squarely in LONDON.

THE discrepancy didn’t come to light until some while afterwards, sparing Jeremy and his defence at trial a troubling cross-examination...

G-Unit, I’ve done that this once, but in future do your own research, then you won’t look so unknowledgeable about the true facts.

Just a suggestion

Those are my sentiments also.

However, I agree with another poster who highlighted that IF JB had NOT ditched/fell out with/upset his GF then would she ever have come forward?  Having said that I do believe her testimony. In particular about the window and the latch. How could she possibly know?

I have no problem agreeing with the jury.

I absolutely agree too.

And Julie’s statements, taken over several days, proved that she knew things she couldn’t have possibly known without the killer telling her.  Besides Jeremy telling her about the window, he also told her how Nevill had fought ferociously, where Nevill lay in the kitchen, how many times Nevill was shot (although he told her it was one bullet less, or more, as he’d probably forgotten or threw her a red herring).

She also knew exactly how the twins were lying in bed, and where both June and Sheila were.  She also knew how he’d made his escape through the kitchen window, including several other details, even down to the fingerprints on the gun which concerned Jeremy...he’d dropped a glove in the violent struggle with Nevill and although he’d found it, that concerned him for some reason.

I don’t think she would have kept quiet for long, even if they hadn’t split up.  For one thing, he didn’t actually ditch her as such. Their relationship was in a terrible state for various reasons, one being she couldn’t let him touch her after the murders.  Yes, she felt hurt when he started flirting with women and then told her he wasn’t sure how he felt, but it was actually she who walked out on him. And as he’d been such a pig to her, it simply brought her revelation forward.

I believe she’d have confessed eventually, anyway. She said it was making her ill knowing he’d killed them all. At first he told her he’d hired a hitman (which is just as evil), but by detaching himself and pretending it wasn’t him who fired those bullets possibly made him seem less evil to her.

Whatever, she would have confessed eventually — he was just too arrogant to think she ever would, and he’d warned her that if she did the police wouldn’t believe her, and she’d incriminate herself.

He’s just an evil psychopath.

The only person I know of who changed from hardcore guilter to supporter is David.

He initially claimed he had found a forensic evidence breakthrough, but refused to say what it was.

He said he changed his mind as there was no blood on Nevill's side of the bed & found an alternative source regarding expected back splatter on the rifle nozzle if the silencer had not been used.

He says the relatives acted alone. Putting Sheila's menstural blood which was in a bucket of water,  into the silencer.

He has not said where the other evidence the relatives had no control over,  has come from.

I don’t know who David is, Adam?

It’s very telling that so many of Jeremy’s few supporters eventually do a volte face after realising he is indeed guilty, yet only one person, David, has been brainwashed by Jeremy into believing he’s innocent.

ALL his supporters claim they have groundbreaking new evidence, but it never is. They never come up with anything of substance, and it’s all old evidence rehashed as “new”. And that’s why they can never reveal this “breakthrough evidence”; because it doesn’t exist.

As for there being no blood on Nevill’s side of the bed: how does that make Jeremy innocent?  All that strongly suggests is that Nevill woke up startled when Jeremy came into the room, jumped out of bed to try and tackle him by the door which resulted in them struggling on the landing — and then Jeremy probably pushed Nevill and fired four bullets into his face. Nevill obviously tried to get downstairs to either arm himself too or call 999, and that’s when the violent struggle happened in the kitchen before Jeremy shot him dead.

This “alternative source” David can’t name, who he claims found back spatter on the barrel is complete nonsense. The rifle was thoroughly tested by forensic scientists in the laboratory and there was NO back spatter in/on the barrel. So David is talking BS.

Nor did the relatives act alone: they frequently went to the police expressing their concerns, and DS Jones and his D.C. , including other police officers too, made searches of WHF and carried out other investigations and enquiries. Which is just as well, as DCI Jones refused to listen to anyone who disagreed with him; was bullying, aggressive, unstable, and seemed to lack the most basic of detective skills. Everyone agrees how sloppily he ran the case from the first few seconds, and thank goodness they got rid of him....

As for the laughable story that Sheila’s menstrual blood (which was watered down inside a bucket) was planted deep inside the silencer, in EXACTLY the same pattern that back spatter makes is impossible. Menstrual blood is not like normal blood. It doesn’t coagulate, for one thing. It also contains tissue and mucous from the uterus, has different cells, and has fewer platelets, less haemoglobin and is completely different. The forensic team would have immediately seen just by looking at it that it was menstrual blood.

So as far as David is concerned, he’s completely clueless.

David is on the Blue forum.

The experts said if the silencer had not been used, the rifle barrel would have had back splatter. He found an alternative source saying the rifle barrel would not produce back splatter.

How I long for the 'good ol' days' when experts stuck together and agreed, and we didn't dare question their decisions. As it stands, we're always going to find opposing views even when the obvious answer, ie the one WE believe, is staring us in the face.

I read ballistic experts saying back spatter would only occur if shot at by a specific close distance.

Sounds to me that whoever this so-called expert was, he was only giving an opinion...

And as David can’t name him it all sounds rather dubious

All the “experts” Jeremy uses seem useless

One of his solicitor’s turned out to be a fake and ended up in prison himself 🤪

Besides, it’s been proven that the silencer was used, so none of this is even worth discussing

Bamber said in his police interviews he knew how to get in & out of WHF through windows.

He could have just said 'yes that is my blade'. I used it when I needed to & left it near WHF'.

What “experts”?

If they actually exist, which I doubt as David can’t name them, they should know back spatter doesn’t occur unless the the rifle is on or close to the victim’s skin.

Yes, he did indeed admit it t was his blade — he had no choice as forensics proved it was his.

But that raises more questions:

If he needed it why did he hide it? Why not keep it in his tool box?

Secondly, why did he have to break into WHF prior to him murdering his family? Why didn’t he just knock on the door?

He was the Bambers’ son and should have had a key, but Nevill didn’t give him one — and there’s a reason for that. Nevill obviously didn’t trust Jeremy and knew he was a thief. The Bambers’ were respectable and tried to protect their children from local gossip, so you can almost guarantee Jeremy did many things that Nevill and June tried to hush up.

He probably stole cash frequently, and he snooped. He’d searched through Nevill and June’s private papers and read their wills  — he unwittingly admitted that when he told police what was in their wills. One needs to ask why he had such an interest in their wills, enough to search for them and read them...

You would find the Blue forum very interesting. David, Mike, Lookout & Nugs have very interesting theories on why Jeremy is innocent. There are also some guilters.
