I’d like to ask if anyone knows why the oft quoted “Police were talking to someone in the house while Jeremy was outside” that JB’s team frequently harp on about, was never brought up by Jeremy Bamber’s excellent defence QC in the trial?

Why didn’t his QC bring that up, I wonder?

Perhaps Holly or G-Unit could explain 😌

I think there's some ambiguity here. Wasn't it "..... in conversation with someone FROM the farm..........."? That, of course, would have been Jeremy, from the farm, but standing outside with them. I believe they attempted to contact someone/anyone IN the farmhouse by megaphone, reporting that there was "No response".

At the time the police were trying to get a response, Jeremy was yards away in a police car. He is claiming he knew nothing about it.

Believe the CT saw a document years later and focused on one line. Claiming the police were communicating with Sheila.

Why Bamber was not informed of this at the time, or why the police would still try to frame him, has not been explained.

A reason why Sheila kept herself alive for hours after killing everyone else, has never been given either.

Then of course there was Bamber’s own suggestion of movement inside to Bews. At that time there was no reason to doubt Jeremy so at that stage the possibility of someone being alive inside was very real.

Naturally this sighting at the window was all part of the sick plan to persuade police to accept his version of events, along with the waffle about Sheila being familiar with guns.

And delayed their entry. There had to have been a tiny part of him that wondered if they'd buy Sheila having shot herself twice so the longer he had to embellish her illness, the better.

Did the QC know about it?

He would have known about it if it was true — he’d have seen every single transcript of the police officers at the scene

Of course, I know Sheila never spoke to to the officers — dead people can’t talk. But I’m just pointing out that JB’s nutty claim that the police were in conversation with Sheila s another of his attempts at manipulating the and twisting the TRUTH.

The fact is, the police wrote back at the station “Police are in talks with someone inside the farm”, meaning, inside the FARM LAND. Not the house. And that person was Jeremy. He knows it. The police know it.

And his QC knew it. And that’s why his QC didn’t mention it...

So all this “new” nonsense JB is spouting is his desperate attempt to twist the truth after finding a note he thought he’d use to try and fool idiots.

Which means he’s STILL lying, STILL manipulating, STILL using people for his own ends, and clearly has absolutely NO intention of admitting he killed his family, and certainly has zero remorse.

Exactly.

That’s why I pointed it out.

It’s so easy to demolish Jeremy Bamber’s “new” evidence...why, I wonder, do his team bother with all this?

If the police had been in talks with someone inside the farm building whilst Jeremy was sat in a police car there never would have been a case against him, unless people think the police, having first decided it was a murder/suicide decided to withold this information so that they could frame Jeremy at a later date!

VS, That, by some supporters, is EXACTLY what's being put forward. It's even been mooted that West and Bonnet decided, between them, to withhold telling Jeremy that they'd already received a call from Nevill, in case the police decided to prosecute him at a later date.................and that was one of the more intelligent suggestions!!!!!

Have they suggested that maybe Crispy phoned the police?

After all, Jeremy said “anything’s possible” when he suggested Crispy shot Sheila the second time, so it’s equally possible  that besides knowing how to shoot he also knew how to work the phone and talk like a man...

A. N. Others have included the suggestions of a South African with whom Sheila was conducting a clandestine relationship in one of the barns, a local farmer with an alleged grudge against Nevill, drug dealers, and Sheila's biological mother accompanied by her mother!!! Take your pick @)(++(*

Perhaps Holly or G-Unit could explain 😌

Jeremy and the CT often misquote this but the wording is CRUCIAL.

The log states that the police were 'in conversation with a PERSON inside the FARM'

The next line is 'challenge to PERSONS inside the HOUSE, met with no response.

Members of the raid team mention being in conversation with Bamber in their statements - he was advising and was the 'PERSON' inside the farm.

There is a distinction made between person and persons and farm and house. This was never an issue for the defence, it's just an example of Bamber's attempt to twist what was written in order to try and plant seeds of doubt.

The police procedure would be to attempt to communicate with those in the farmhouse which is what occurred. There was no response of course as everyone was dead.

The catalogue of lame excuses put forward by Bamber supporters is breathaking in both its breadth and depth and fancifulness, have these people no shame at all??
