And according to Charles Marsden Bamber walked Sarah home the following morning

But Charles Marsden was at pains to insist that he hadn't taken part in the sex session.  And when Jeremy returned from walking the girl home, Marsden himself had got up and driven home.

But Anji Greaves told the Sun after Bamber was convicted it was her Bamber was seeing not Virginia !

I’ve not seen Virginia Greaves witness statement nor her sister Anji’s but it’s pretty obvious Bamber was lying - again

We don’t know who Bamber was talking to on the night Julie threw the Chinese trick box at the mirror - Virginia could have lied to police to protect her sister?

Then again, it could have been Virginia phoning on behalf of her sister and she planned to pass the receiver to Anji so that she (Anji) could talk to her boyfriend?

Virginia Greaves evidence appears to be a red herring

What does Sarah’s witness statement say ?

Am presuming CAL took the above from his WS ?

Maybe the following came from Sarah’s statement ?

‘She told detectives in 1985 that she had suddenly found herself in Jeremy’s bedroom with him, ‘on top of me having intercourse’. Charles Marsden lay next to them;

This bit must have come from Marsden’s statement

‘he recalled waking up to find the couple having sex

Suppose Bamber could have drugged her then carried her up to bed where Marsden was sleeping - but why take her upstairs to a bed with Marsden in it - why not stay downstairs ?

What happens after Marsden wakes up to find them having sex ? Did he take himself out of the situation ?

Something doesn’t add up as I’ve said

Marsden claimed to have left the cottage after Bamber had allegedly walked Sarah home

That sounds HIGHLY suspicious to me

As you say, why didn’t Jeremy have sex with Sarah downstairs after CM had gone up to the bed?

Why would he take her into that bed?

There’s something VERY suspicious about that

I’d guess she was totally “out of it” and he guided her upstairs while she was leaning on him, almost collapsed

He must have undressed her and put her on the bed — and there’s no way CM wouldn’t have woken up. That’s if he WAS actually asleep...who knows if he was going to get on top her after Jeremy finished?!

Those statements don’t add up at all
