Well it took time to get the data from the service providers, plus warrants I imagine. Then it needed to be analysed and, even the staunchest supporter has to agree the analysis was very thorough.

I’m sure it was, though it revealed nothing incriminating, especially not if you believe Madeleine died in an accident on the 3rd May, as the deleted messages were received before that date.

Wasn’t it just after that that the ‘not of interest to the investigation’ file was made public ? Pavia, and his evidence,  had to be discredited at any cost.
