At the time I was fully prepared to accept that the police had found evidence against the McCanns.  Of course, many news reports are only as good as their sources but you have to use common sense as well.  It makes perfect sense that the searches in Portugal have been triggered by the investigation into CB, and it makes no sense whatsoever to believe that the police are searching wells on his old properties and in VDB because they think that’s where the McCanns dumped the body - in late July!

does this palce gerry in these places...it seems he wasnt in Lagos when his phone pinged there,...it was simply due to the traffic on the Luz antennae.

if its from  paper it isnt good enough...i think most sensible people realise that papers dont always quote exactly. Just as all thes e newsapper reports may not be 100% correct...but Im pretty sure wells are being searched and pretty sure its related to Breukner

That's my opinion based on the facts that a man was murdered in Villa Bispo a couple of weeks before and the fact there is no official source of what the well searches are about.

It's an opinion just like Sandra's.  I'm sure just a few weeks ago you wouldn't accept any news report I cited even the ones with direct quotes from police. Now an opinion is fine if it's a journalist you like?

Are you referring to the Dutchman who was found dead, possibly murdered, in his home on 21st May 2020?
