The hatred reached crescendo when Scotland Yard were searching for her in the environs of Luz.

Do you know if there is graffiti on the walls this time saying the Portuguese police are stupid?

Which was my point some indeterminate time in the past; they're still holding on to hope, and any parent should, so every possible means should be explored to find out exactly what it is the Germans are so sure of - again, as a parent. I'd be in the press, on a plane over there, thumping on their door demanding answers.
Maybe that's just me. And that's not a criticism of the McCann's, as they may have reached out and been rebuffed already.

You're right, I'm not sure how I will cope having all my prejudices and beliefs tossed down a well so to speak.  I do hope the police explain how Gerry managed to retrieve the body en route back from the airport and do the deed months after their daughter went missing.  I'm sure there's a very simple explanation.

Hatred doesn't come into it... so why you trying  to make it out that way just seems like gossip imo

Simply because I don't believe Maddie was abducted so why would I care for the mccs.

My concern is what Maddies fate was.
